Q:

The Airforce Bottle Regulator is here!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am pleased to announce that the Airforce bottle regulator is complete and I have the distinct honor to offer them for sale.

They have the M18 x 1.5 threadpitch for the Airforce bottle on one end and the .875-20UNEF threads for the E-TaCREG on the other.

The length and diameter are identical to the other JDS Airman regs.

I will be stocking them here at E-TaC central. The cost is $90 shipped, same as the E-TaCREG. CONUS shipping is included.

You can choose your output pressure from 1200-2500psi.

Here is a picture.

I have to get my tank filled (AGAAIN!!!) and I’ll get a shot count number for the 2000psi output.

Regards,
Jim

Thanks guys.

I have:
JSB Exact Kings
Beeman Kodiak Extra heavies
Benjamin 27.8
Beeman Crow Mags
Eunjin 43.2
Eunjin 35.8

What are the Nine Rings you speak of LMTSS?

Beneeb0y: I wouldn’t think you’d loose near 100fps going to a 18″. Closer to 40fps in my testing.

Digi2496: I adjusted the PW all the way down on the 2kpsi reg and was shooting in the 550’s with 15.8 JSB so 715fps is easily obtainable. The 1400psi reg was shooting them at 873fps. I would go for the lowest psi reg for most shots.

beneeb0y: I’ve only got a 24″ barrel in .25. Any particular pellet? I’ve got a few different kinds.

Beneeb0y has stepped up to the plate with a suggestion, and I’ll get right on it.

Jim

That’s cool. I have an 18″ barrel so I just minus 100fps to get a general clue.

What ya got??? I’de like to see a heavy pellet (43 EJ or higher) and light pellet(JSB 25 or H&N 30).

What barrel/pellet/psi output do you want me to test next?

Jim

😆 Besides the DOT stuff there are no other laws. Everything else was made up by the diving community.

Honestly, I am confused.

The tech (with owner standing there) said he could not fill ANY tank without a current Visual Check sticker on it when I took it in yesterday. Today I got the call that it was done. Went to pick it up and it was full, but no Vis Check sticker (??) Told them they better put one on it so I don’t have to go through this again. Guy who’s been doing this for many years told me that there is no need to do a Vis Check on a non-breathing cylinder.

They didn’t charge me anything for the Vis Check; I’ve got my sticker, and I’m full of air.
