On a serious note, I’m not begrudge towards Ed or his products. I would have loved to be in possession of a lelya right now. I backed out mainly because I kinda felt the current situation was coming and figured it was time to get out!
Now I usually say what I think, and I’ll call bullspit when I see it, but I kinda regret not saying more when I backed out this time. Maybe things would have been handled more fairly?, I don’t know.
I will say that this is utter douchebaggery implemented by a conman and I will never do business with him :butkick:

Ed and Tony have answered you all 100.00 more PLEASE why because that is what the competitors is selling their piece a shit for! And old Ed will throw in some Edgun cloths for good measure. I will say this what ED and Tony have done is poor business practice and they might loose some clients for their changing the game mid stream. However lets get something straight here with the EDgun you are getting a barrel yes a real LW match quality barrel! I will pay the extra 100 for the LW barrel as opposed to a barrel stamped made in Germany but really contracted out and licensed to some Company in Korea that is not even choked. Ed and Tony suck as business People but at least at the end of the day you are getting a high quality gun!
The R3 is a laser because of the barrel. Ed has really put his heart and soul into the barrel. Make no mistake these are not made in Korea and sold by a German company. Oak has good reason to be upset. He and I were sold snake oil repackaged.

I have an R3 .22 and its a laser. the most accurate gun I’ve owned/own. the POI has never shifted on me. I will buy another. but Im a team player and would like to see Tony keep his word and honor the price he gave.
The Edgun is not for folks who who worry about warranties and payments to gun tuners.
However I believe that Ed has pretty much posted just about everything you need to know to keep an Edgun up and working at it’s best. There are Videos they are available.
Not to beat a dead horse here but if the “customer service” is this lacking pre-sales for an Edgun, I can only imagine it’s nonexistent if you have issues down the road. Seems like many have been up this shit creek. If I want to own one someday, I think I’ll purchase it used and not pay the premium since it won’t come with much of a warranty new or used. Again, it speaks volumes as to how this business is ran by these individuals. Edguns are no longer the only fish in the pond like they were a few years ago.

Well I wouldn’t jump that train so fast. Not all is rosey with the Taipan. There are issues with the short. I’m waiting to see if the dealers make it right. Some already have others may not even know about the issues. I’m giving the dealers time to do the right thing.
Good chance Ed lost me for life, too many other good guns out there nowadays. The competition is getting ever so close to being as good as an Edgun. From my point of view its not worth the drama of the wait or the unknown of if I am going to get price adjusted at the last minute. The mutant is looking like a great replacement for the Lelya or maybe anything Ed makes. I will continue to watch but the “special” has been taken away about owning an Edgun after this business maneuver

I’m not buying the sales pitch on his barrels being all that! If you want a real match grade LW get a slow twist off Dan brown , and have him fit it to your matador.
