Who say the Mutant will have a LW barrel,
I ask and was told it was a CZ barrel.
Now I have a CZ on my 22 Cricket and just bought one for my 22 Mutant,
I have a LW barrel on my 25 Cricket, I do not want one on my 25 Mutant,
How sure are you?
I know the Vulcan 25 has a CZ barrel
Could be a game changer for me
Mike

manufacturer told me. i called him

22 will be with 22 as before but 25 will have LW

Usually a 22 is a 22 – as before 😉

The Mutant .25 has been said to sport a LW barrel from the beginning Mike, I would not hold my breath on a CZ barrel.

Can’t put a scope on the reservoir that stays spot on, but then again that’s not an issue with an assault rifle at close range. ROF is rather low though and metal magazines are easily hurt if you drop them feed side down (like taping two mags together). Other than that they tend to work even in hands of complete dumbasses.

yeah all the simle is great. but i think priest is more simple than mutant.

and i own ak47. i love it :)))

I really don’t know about The Mullah. My gut feeling says to stay away but i’ve been wrong before. Doesn’t happen all too often but it happens once in a while.
Was i in need of a barrel changer PCP i’d , God forbid , choose the Impact. The ones i’ve tested (.22,.25,.30) shot really well. The .30 especially surprised me although i think a .30 cal airgun is all but useless. A moderated .22 LR beats the hell out of it while being more quiet, accurate and cheaper to shoot.

Like Mikhail Kalashnikov once said : ” Keep it simple. A useful gun is just that – simple. Simple is useful “.

I will probably get a Mutant .25 I’m with Mike on this: Simple is good. I want a grab and go bullpup.

I want a fixed power scope on a fixed power air rifle. Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. (and maybe a custom stock)

:2cents:

Never understood the point of a power adjuster, it will change your trajectory so you need to do a lot more work to figure out where the pellet will land :2cents:

I am still looking,
A little 25 Mutant information is leaking in , So its still 50/50 deal ,
I can swing either way,
Seems like the Mutant or the Priest will not have a power adjuster, Even still 50/50
Either way I am going to wait and see what the people are saying about the first batch of Priest and Mutants,
From what I can tell it looks like the Priest may hit the market a little sooner than the Mutant.
Mike

^ I am with this guy.

So who’s gonna be the first out of the gate to plop fundage down for this? I was going to try to be one of the first but I think I’m gonna wait for a couple reviews to roll in. The extended wait sort of gave me a bit of cold feet.

When I talked to R&L they said they’d do a review but that sounds like it could take a few days to a few weeks. Anyone know if they post video reviews over there? Are they known for reviewing airguns? Even if I were to be one of the first to get it I doubt my review would amount to much being new to airguns. I’m hoping one of you fine gents can give the rest on the fence some good info to work with.

I’ve had a deposit on one since August, I’m ready to pay the balance and take deliver.

They seem very serious about what they do. Good

Okay, just spoke to R&L. They are supposed to ship this week, but may or may not be stuck in customs when they arrive. I was told their broker is pretty good about clearing customs before they even hit shore but to be safe, don’t hold your breath. So figure in another week. That puts us out past the projected time frame for arrival.

I asked about their review and how it will be conducted and was told that the fastest way would be to do a write up and then possibly down the road they’d do a video or something but by that time there will probably be user reviews available.

The delay supposedly was not as much of a flaw as it was RTI wanted to to improve the design. Story goes that RTI was assembling/disassembling and noticed that 3 out of 70 had ripped o-rings (a la Marauders), not sure where but they decided to machine the o-ring boss deeper for that particular problem spot.

So hopefully the story remains the same as it has thus far from my contact with R&L.

ETA: R&L said they’d be doing accuracy testing and function checks and velocity strings when they arrive on every Priest.

i remember in previos post that some guns had problems.

What problems? I have not heard about this
