Now that’s a true brotherhood in arms :8:

Dang mail-lady didn’t even try to deliver the package to me this morning…just got the dreaded orange (sorry we missed you!) slip in the box. Guess I’ll be making a trip to town in the a.m.

Awny, that sucks… This happened to me with a package recently. It had signature required and was delivered to the wrong place. USPS looked up the gps of where it was signed for and realized my address and the gps coordinates were not a match. They figured out where it was delivered, picked it back up and dropped it off to me eventually. Pain the in the ass though still.

Since the claimed delivery by the tracking website is Wednesday a return would be processed by Monday at most. Will see!

I confirmed with Evgeny that it was sent to the right address in case there was a mistake of street number or so.
Then I went to the USPS office and waited 30 min for the delivery desk person to show up and then I was asked to fill a form and promised that the supervisor will look at it and will call me back. What a great service!

It’s a registered mail, how could they screw it up? I am hoping that whoever they delivered it to would return it to USPS and they would then deliver it right and not return it to the origin address. An even worse case it could be not recoverable if the person does not return it.

Whatcha find out Awny?

That’s not good.

Someone else got the package. :angrymob:

My USPS tracking says “Delivered, Left with Individual”, but I have not received it!!!
I’m puzzled!

I am using a Plano tactical 42″ case.

Installed, works like butter!! Slicker than shit through a goose.

That looks perfect. Which gun case are you using for the Tactic?

Temporarily go without the slotted plate and you can use the short original screws and still get adequate thread engagement. The long screws are too long if the plate is not used, but the short screws are just right. I had to do just that because I didn’t initially receive one.

I used anti-seize on all those little screws. Hopefully, that will prevent problems in the future.

So – be careful about these screws.

The block that the arm pivots on has a rough coating. This galled against the underside of one of my long screws.

I never mash on screws and did not over torque it but I did feel it kind of “click” when I tightened it down. I did not go beyond that “click”

When I went to re-adjust it, that screw was firmly stuck. I managed to get it out by rotating the whole arm/block since the underside of that long screw had galled against the pivot block.

Guess I’ll write Evgeny and see about getting a replacement long screw
