Is that scope a first focal? I dig it. Just ordered a falcon menace in 5.5-25x50mm from the U.K. I did not even know of these …at 12x mag is a little low but it would be bad ass on the Vulcan.

I agree screwed in the head. This is perfect for close combat shooting with 3 foot targets.

The Connect is like it’s made and designed for Bullpups. Perfect scope IMHO.

I know what’s going on mine. A MTC Connect with SCB reticle. Nice and small and light.

Sorry, but as Oscar Wilde said,

Yes. You are .. 😉

Ordered a .25 Vulcan from tony last week – he is swamped & I’m chompin at the bit. I’m thinking of dressing mine with an eo tech holographic sight with magnifyer – should do good at close ranges & can attach & flip down magnifyer for longer shots. Anybody ever use them on bullpups? am I screwed in the head?

I sure hope it’s not Hoot: s lube!!! Ville can tell you all about it…

Almost emptied 350 tin today. Breezy and hot today. Managed to get a bunch of sparrows and starlings. Did a lot of practice shooting either it today. Looks like reg settled in at 925 fps. Didn’t do a whole string though. Tested a bunch of pellets. Old and new stock JSB and AA. Looks like AA are a bit better. I did stumble across something that I want to test a bit further before I share and I hope it’s no fluke. I did a true one holer at 45 yards today. I mean first pellet make the hole and the next 4 go into the same hole. Not even making it bigger. I had about 40 pellets left over that I shot with my cricket I sold. They shot tremendously out of this gun. I don’t have any more so I will try with regular kings with my special lube. ( don’t make fun of me now) I went on to lube the AA after that and later this evening I went and did a test with them and they were amazing at 75 yards too. Had 90 degree crosswind and gun neatly stitched a 1″ 3 hole horizontal pattern perfectly in line with one another. That’s a 5 shot group at 75 yards from my truck. I will say I was fighting with gun all day with the wind changing direction every time you move from one spot to the next. First I figured it was the gun acting up but after a lengthy test it proved that the wind got the better of me today.
Almost got 700 rounds through it

Your lubing up? Stay the hell away from Ville you’ll be a freak by days end! At work no shooting today.

I only shoot The AA’S nog. A tremendous Pellet! I’ve tested 3 different batches and all shoot equally well.

Just the first day, 77 rounds in 18 MPH 45° cross winds. Shot really consistent at 50 yards.
Had to hold a tight cheek weld but loved the accuracy.

Today was much worse with winds gusting to over 40 MPH and cold rain. :angrymob:
Loaded my 3 magazines, refilled to 250 bar and took pictures.

I got the Aeon 6-24X50 SF with Mil-Dot Target reticle from Talon Tunes also. Heavier than some at 26 oz. but clear 50 mm objective lens was a must for me. Oh, and you get to see the ugly side of my Vulcan stock here:

CLICK picture to see the detail.
Oh, I gotta say the horizontal turret was all I fiddled with cuz Tony mounted and sighted it in at 30 yards for me. Ended up right where Tony had set it but I was amazed how crisp the clicks are. Not overly hard to turn either! :8:

You having fun shooting it?

Is 3-12 really enough magnification to do the enormous long range capabilities of the Vulcan justice?

I like to crank up the magnification higher than 12 when shooting 50 yards and beyond, but that may just be a remnant of most of my airgunning life being field target shooting, not hunting.

Same here. At 15x at 75-90 yards it’s definitely not too much

Thats why I just purchased another Hawke 4026 nice long range. Any other scopes I should look at?
