so i received my USED .25 Condor a few days ago and finally had some time to shoot her…
drew around 5 shot groups
OK so my “bench” is a Rubber Made trash can, the bag rests are from Dick’s and i sit on an old speaker….
its 27 frick’n yards!! these Kodiaks should stack!
so i started looking a Little closer…
a little CLOSER…
clip the baffle much?
OK, lets tear it down and see… rattle rattle.

pull the Silencer off… rattle rattle.

What is with all the drilled dimples in the bbl.?
The Breach end is very thin. I can’t help but wonder if it got bent either in shipping, may be fell over ( Bbl. only) at the previous owners house. Striking the breach end, and went un noticed. 😕

-rolled the barrel on a piece of slate counter top, the “thick” part wasn’t PERFECT, but @ its worst, i could NOT slip a sheet of newsprint between barrel and slate.
IMO not too bad
now as for the breech end (narrower OD part) that wasn’t pretty.
so i “deep tissue massaged” it a bit and got it much better… straight? HELL no but better.
IMO the CORE of the breech misalignment.
-used tape to shim the bushings
slid the barrel all the way back to the TopHat and shimmed to best align the two.
-touched up (and USED) the ORIGINAL dimples in the barrel
the breech now slides on and off the TopHat very easily 😎
this still doesn’t answer why the big EunJin’s dont fit but it might get the Kodiaks a little closer together.
no way to tell till i can shoot some paper though.

Start with new bushings first…. 😉
pretty much would have to be the bushings wouldnt it.
Get a new Barrel, or relocate the bushings and drill the frame to match.

Tony tuned a .22 for Terry.
Terry bought a .25 barrel and breech off sawtime but never installed it. Terry sold it all to JiA.
JiA sold me what you see in the pic on the first post in this thread.

i just want to make the gun i have shoot better.

How many items on the above list does the gun have? I read the ad as if the gun was recently acquired as in 1 owner, but now it seems that the gun was’nt even a .25 to begin with????

Not sure if you did it already but if not try taking the bushings off and roll the barrel on a level and straight surface, a glass counter top works well, and see if there is daylight between the barrel and counter top. Something is not right and the seller should do something to make it right.
A little off topic, but how is the crown on the barrel?
Holly shit what did JiA do to that barrel. Get a new barrel.

I think someone over drilled the original bushings for the .25 barrel and the holes were off so they finished by grinding the bushings to fit… 😯
Out of curiosity what is the OD of you .25 cal barrel? I know my .22 cal barrel is pretty thin at the breach… 😯
I think some barrels don’t like some pellets. I have a really accurate pistol that really shows the difference between pellet diameters… If you can measure the land to land and groove to groove of your barrel with a slug test or a good caliper you could determine what is going on with the EJ’s…
Have you tried any of Jerry’s slugs, I would be curious to see how they fit…
