– but yes, I have taken the plunge and ordered (and paid for) a brand new R3M std. walnut cal.22. As there are no Edgun representatives in Norway, I have been dealing with Ed directly……
I also ordered a multishot breech to fit on my single shot R3s…….. 😉
So now the wait begins……. 😥
But this time I am at least prepared for the worst. I don’t expect to get it until towards late autumn………
I’ll keep you updated though, and again shipping is the most difficult issue I think………

i have been informed Trygve, ZocoLoco, passed away from pancreatic cancer a little while ago. His posts were always informative and interesting. He was a benefit to our forum, and will be missed by those who knew and corresponded with him.

Why bother?? If they take your money and expect you to wait over a year for the rifle… What will they do when you need a part???

Bad service and a scratched rusty gun delivered a year late is not what promotes a product in any country….
If they cant ship a firearm to a country then they should not take orders from that country and promise a delivery they cant do..

This time it was not Andrey in Estonia. He just shipped what had been packed by Ed’s people/workshop in Russia. At least that’s what I can make out from Ed’s written explanation above. Let’s hope he is not messing up your parts too……..
Now I have written to Ed with a request to send the correct items. As I’m again leaving this country for some sun on March 3rd, – I have asked for my items to be here in Oslo upon my return on April 28th.
I beg and pray Ed makes it this time………..
I have also asked for instructions/what to do with the items I have received and have no use for……

I didn’t understand how Ed could have mixed and matched the parts that he sent to you. Ed’s explanation that it was a miscommunication between him and the guy in Estonia that sent the parts explains the mix-up.
Ed is having some parts sent out to me from Estonia “soon”.
I’m hoping that my parts are the right ones the first time.
