25.5 fpe @ 65yds…I was blown away at the power…
I, for some reason, thumbed my nose up at anything less than 35fpe because I had no idea how much knock down power that was at longer distances…Well today I shot some Beeman Kodiaks at some pellet tin lids at 65yds with a muzzle fpe of 25.5 and I could not believe the amount of force that was still left at 65yds….I would say it is more than enough for any small game at that distance and possible 10-20 yds further….After going through the pellet tins, the pellets were buried in treated pine that has been sitting outside for over a year. It was not soft. I could see these shots going straight through any small game at this distance…

it is a hill pump i ordered it new from pilk like 2-3 weeks ago but it doents have the black collar on it
Which pump do you have? If there is no fittings or threaded ports at the inlet I wouldn’t think you could ad one….might be possible but it would take some drilling and tapping.
can i add a drypac fitting?
Yea, not all of the pumps have a fitting on the inlet port…My FX pump doesn’t have one either….
that sucks i dont have the black collar on my pump just an aluminum sleeve with a bunch of holes in it
On the BSA Hill pump, the fitting for the Moisture filter is the same size as a standard Quick Connect fitting for a compressor….

do you have a pic of your hill pump hooked up to the compressor?

If you think about it try hooking your regular air compressor to the Hill pump inlet. With 40psi going into the pump inlet I can fill from 2500psi to 2900psi with 40 strokes. Without the compressor it would take 75 to 100…Works great.

JSB’s…..It is zeroed @ 25yds and has no holdover at 65yds
with the JSB’s.
Kodiaks are about .5 mildot holdover.
I think I will enjoy that till the co2 adapter shows
up and see what happens…Knowing me I’ll decide to tear
it down in the middle of the night and polish the frame…..
I think at this point it is shooting better than me……
I sent an email to Mac1 asking for advice but haven’t
heard anything yet….
Get that compressor fixed so you will have ample supply
for setting your turrets….

hopefully this weekend I’ll tear it apart, have 2 CF tanks and a Hill Pump to keep the lead flying during the down time!

Shot the gun down to 1,500 psi….It isn’t likeing low psi as much as high….It starts to make a few one holers then a couple flyers…Back and forth….Just not consistant…It look like the best is between 2800 and 2200 with the PW on 10….I tried PW2 @2800 for kicks and I had to hold over about 2 ft….was almost out of the scope view….Not enough hammer to activate the valve….
I am going to try 2500 on PW5
Nah, I passed and let a friend named Riz know about it since he was looking for a FT scope…one hell of a deal, hopefully that scope OR my former 1st FT rifle, which Riz now owns, doesn’t haunt me this season at my local matches!!! 😯 😆

That is interesting….I would contact the seller and ask if a kit is available and if it is easy to install…..
