These are 100 grainers, the price look, 500 bullets for 25.00 you’ll probably never need anymore and I know you could get good groups with these cause I have a 9mm and get the same style and brand bullet in 357 and they shoot real good plus the speed of the bullets should be under 1000 in the high 900’s or mid anyway, if you need a hollow point just make it a hollow with a drill. Best bang for the buck guaranteed. Maybe 200 bullets is all you need for now, but if you go direct off your scuba for target shooting you’ll know why I suggest cheap ammo.
How many grains are these bullets?
I have plenty 115’s and about 90 75’s left.
get some of these brother http://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/item.asp?sku=00051205
To take advantage of the flat trajectory, it should be set at around 50-60 yards (whatever keeps the bullet rise around an inch or so). Then you would not have to hold-over to hit within a 2 inch circle out to 60+yards or so.
This calculator gives a real good idea on what is going on at all ranges.
I set it at about 35 yards, i never used a range finder for the setting I measured it a while back and thats what I got by the ruler.
That put is dead center and shot through a treated 2X4 and it didn’t appear to slow it down.
So Used the 45,47 yard reach, depending where I set my chair, can’t remember that either but it is very close within a foot either way, and thats the shot I got but it was windy so that allowed for the right drift.
I couldn’t ask for a better shot even with my Marlin 22 magnum at that distance. Actually cutting the holes . I can do about anything at 25 yards with about any gun I have Bullet in Bullet, but the 308 seems to be the slow bullet for the slow Air guns.
Like the 308 Powder burner I had, it was so good that I loaded my 7MM Magnum to the same specks and get the same groups at 100, about an inch.
My 2506 beets that with reloads to factory specks, but it don’t have the Magnum recoil when using factory in the magnum, so Seems like I’m up to snuff, now the damage stamp and the final test.
I got my fingers crossed 😯
What range did you set your zero?

Here I go again 😀 47 Yards 308 Corsair and it don’t get any better than this. 47 yards 2 shots 3700 fill refill from 3100 after 2 shots, looks like cutting the bullet holes and using consistent 300 pounds per shot.
Used one 115 grain flat nose and one 115 grain round nose.
This gun shoots virtually flat all way out, maybe 1/2″ low on 20 yards.

that 17 caliber pellet can barely moved when the pellet(bullet) hit it.
Uh the only gun I own that will do the same is my Marauder 25.
No other can touch it.
And no it isn’t for sale LMBO. 😛
i have a few stands set up back there so we can hunt a few ppl comfortably
each stand has a small feed plot and bait pile and also a mineral spot to keep them all coming back
There are so many deer here in mercer county , last winter they was a dead deer laying every 100 yards beside the road and some dead under the hill and above the hill. They are all over the yards and in the gardens and are out all hours of the night. I have a Buck 2 does and 2 fawns in my yard daily. Rabits and Squirells are all over this place. I don’t have a problem hunting, also we have 4 national forest with in 30 minutes of my house and plenty ground around the home place. So Thanks for the Invite, but I would get disowned if I come and help someone else out thwne all the Deer I need are right here.I have pictures of them in my yard too lolol.
i have over 100,000 acres to hunt on here my brother-in-law has 5 acres that backs up to the national forest

Damn if I could afford the air fare I’d come take you up on that offer RJ …. 😯
Arround here if you’ve got a good spot you don’t tell anyone you don’t trust or can’t beat up….
:18 🙄 😆 😆 😆
BTW my deer season starts Aug 15
Please by all means GO SHOOT A DAMN DEER. I do it with my 9mm. Just place ur shots rite and it will work.If ur not confident with ur shot dont pull the trigger. If ur deer season dont start early ,come to S.C. and i will put u in my stand . Its a 30 yard shot to the corn pile. And yes we can bait deer here. I have an 16ft elevated stand with a shooting bench on it. Iwill sit on the ground with my 9 to back u up if it dont drop were he stands. Proper shot placement will do it. Either shot in the head or heart or spine. In the heart he might run 40-50 yds

😀 They done a show on TV involving a 50 caliber Machine Gun, now that gun was one like I used in Vietnam. It shoots 2910 FPS 619 grain Bullet making 11,637 Foot pounds of energy, affective range is 2000 yards.
The question was how far can a person be under water before he would be safe from that gun.
After the test was ran, 3 feet below the water and it is impossible to hold the gun on the person and hit him.
Of course I recon they used a dummy don’t know I got on in the middle of the test. It was on the show that shows all kinds of Jobs clean and dirty and all kinds of weird experiments, well! That was one of them. :4
Mythbusters?
They did a experiment with different caliber weapons and found that the bigger the bullet the faster it dissipated it’s energy into the water.
Yep thats the show. Made me like hard water frozen to test my guns in LOLOL foot pounds don’t count in an unreliable source like water and especially shooting the dragon Slayer into pressurised soda pop bottles 😀
Roach can kill as many deer with .32 pistols or .22 rifles as he wants but Shaggy is not allowed to mention he might give it a go with a .308 air rifle.
Ready, set, fight!
😀 I just jumped in and got my feet wet. 😀
Air gunning is new to me in the part im in now, I have the same guns I used for 15 years breake barell and a 17 caliber multi pump crossman. I pumped up the crossman to 3 pumps and knocked out a cat with it, of corse in about 5 minutes it woke up, and I’m glad I was away from it. But 10 pumps with a pellet would have IMHO killed it deader than dead.
It shoots in the mid to high 700’ds with the crossman wad cutter pellets. Maybe about 7.9 grains I never weight those. So it is a good gun still and hasnt lost one foot of speed.
I can pump it up like I do the PCP guns and it holds air real well.
Ive killed Hogs with 22 rifles and the 38 special will kill deer , I know man that killed them all the time back in teh 70’s with a 38 smith and wesson K-Frame revolver, highly ileagal then and now. Thats why we load our 357’s with a 38 load, no recoil and shoots better and the second shot if needed isn’t flying all over the place becasue of heat in the barrel. 😮
Thats the way to get around the shell checking when you run into a game warden. Now that was years ago they dont do that now, so maybe the deer has become imune to them LMBO,, Like fishing, I have to use a worm every now and then to make sure the fish remembers what they taste like LOLOL. 😀
