You need to shoot that gun of yours at various ranges between 15 yards and 65 so we can see how high your tragectory is.
I suspect it is very high at around 35 to 40 yards in orer to hit 1 inch high at 65. The .22’s and 25’s at the same velocity suffer that fate, but they are also lighter.
I see someone converted an AF gun to a 32. It was small, had iron sights and looked like a handy little gun, for raccoons and such.
Perhaps I should start using Elmer Keiths name, I might get struck by lightening, but for me bigger heavier slugs were always better.

I have all american guns, from 17 caliber to 4570 1896 Gvt. I like my guns.
I’d say Korea makes good guns, don’t have any personal experiance with them.
I was in the market for the big bore and after doing research through Gary Barnes and Quackenbush I decided on the 308.
Korea don’t have one anywhere Ive been but Corsair had one and Quackenbush and Barnes, but barns is into fancy big money configuration insted of selling guns to us poor folk.
200 plus pouns of energy is good, Quacken bush and corseair has that but you can put the scope closer and zero it better on the corsair , and it is by experiance that the higher the scope is off the barell the more you have to allow for drop or rise.
Dead center at 15 yards and about an inch high at 65 is a pretty good flat out shot for an air gun. You’ll be hard pressed to find anything else that will do that in Air. Most reviews shows a big drop of 2 to 3 inches and some even more at that range being zero’d at 15 yards.
Ive seen people that had 300 weatherby Magnums that cant hit a 3 inch plate dead center at 65 yards, too much recoil. I have the 7mm magnum and I can keep it in a one inch group at 100 yards, But I reload my own bullets and I use a load equivelant to the 308 rifle, using a 125 grain bullet. Those belted magnums love that 2500 FPS load, I kill dear and they can’t find theirs. Must have missed 😀 .
Any Way the 50 caliber Korean review is on Pyrmid Air, that was what threw me twards the 308, and I’m really satisfied with the gun.

Wow I thought you knew a lot about guns?
You hunt a lot, your basically shooting a warm 45 Colt, and every one knows it is far inferior to a weak 3220 handgun, right? 😛
Little and lighter is always better right??? That is why the Army went to the 3220 instead of what eventually became the 45 LC in 1873. They realized that they could take a horse down with a 130 grain bullet at 800 fps. And not with a 250 at 800FPS. 😛
And that cheap/weak Korean gun of yours really hasn’t killed a truck load of game in our fine state, they died of a heart attack, right? 😉

Not doubting your word at all, but I looked at and Googled the Korean guns along with Quackenbush, and I buy lots of pellets and Guns from Pyramid Air, and have seen reviews.
I don’t think unless you had someone to tune it for you that the Korean Rifle will get that much energy with a 130 grn. Pellet.
The only air rifle that will surpass this one and it only does it by a few feet Is Quackenbush.
That was my first option but I couldn’t get on his list after trying for 5 years, I decided to go with this one.
Any way No pun meant toward the Korean rifle, but owners of them says in the feedback forums on Pyramyd Air that they don’t recommend this gun for Hunt.
This Corsair Rifle IMHO will take a deer easy at 45 Yards.
I have over 60 Powder burners and they are top notch guns, and I have 10 pellet rifles, and even the Crosman Pump up that requires 10 pumps to get it up to speed will take out a House cat with the Bobbed tail, and thats a big cat. Ive owned that rifle since 1993 and it will stay pumped up indefinitely like the PCP rifles.
Any way it is a preference, Glad you like you Rifle, thats what it is all about.

Took one more shot with 130 grain pellet that Randy sent the First time, at 15 yards it hit dead center like the 115 grn did.
Graph showed 841.9 FPS. I think it about to leave the Ground 😀
130 Grains and Above the 800ds, 841 FPS on a 3200 PSI fill, tank getting low,. 😯
I zero tis gun yesterday at 15 yards, and this morning I fired one shot only at 65 yards through the Graph, and it hit about three quarters of an inch high and about 2 inches to the right, could have been me pulling off, and the speed of that pellet 115 grain fb was 871.3 . So there you have it.
I hope this Gun holds up, I think it will, time will tell.
First I want to thank Randy for his support, and customer service after the sale, and his follow up.
I recieved the 308 Courseair back today and only had time to mount the scope and test some speed shots, not got to zero yet or show shot placement.
Next thing is the guns is light and easy to carry, and does have a little recoil, but it isn’t anything to be concerned about, maybe like a 410 shot gun with 2 and 1/2 in shells. Not bad at all.
The loudness is between a 22 and a 410, I’m just judging with my ears and I am Hearing impaired 😛 .
Now I started with the 115 grain pellets flat nose from Hunters supply, air gun pellets. Loaded the Air chamber to 3400 PSI Shot #1 gave me 868 FPS, shot #2 gave me 810 FPS and shot #3 gave me 711 FPS. I must say at that I’m impressed. I hope it holds up, I dont get to shoot anymore today too many honey do’s. But I also shot the 130 grain Randy sent with it the first time Just for reference, and loaded the Air chamber this time to about 3300psi “Tank pressure droped due to the first fill. And I got 799 FPS on the first shot 707 FPS on the second shot and 691 FPS on the third shot. I’m still impressed.
I’ll zero it and show some shot groups when Wife gets off my back about Mowing the yard and playing Husband 😀 So right now, I dont think there is any Air gun out there that can do a hole lot better unless you pay a huge dollar amount for it,. But this gun hit my 2X12 and made some splinters in the process, like the other one this Gun is a Beast of a air rifle.

Just because someone takes a deer with 3 grains of bulleye, does not make it a deer round. Your game commision has valid reasons for their caliber power limit.
Yes there are people who can kill with these lower energy rounds under ideal conditions, but ideal conditions are not there in the field everyday for every hunter, so game commisions set standards that are humane.
Ask any hunting expert about what you want to use, he will say the same thing I am telling you.
Your quarry deserves better.
Yes Bullet placement is everthing, but in the field there are more variables at work than at your shooting bench.
The idea of using that for Buffalo is preposterous.
By the time I was 12 years old, I had killed close to 40 head of cattle using a 22lr and sometimes a 22 short. I drew an imaginary x from eye to horn and shot where it intersected. Our family at the time raised cattle, sold them on the hoof to beef customers and cut and wrapped the meat.
One shot was all it took, my father trained me well on how to do it and he had done this in the Slaughter houses, but I sure would not go after a Buffalo with a 22, the conditions in the field are a whole lot different, and this is what I am trying to convey to you.
Deer run, there are wind conditions, brush and hunter excitement to deal with. Not to mention, hunter experience.
And please, I am not saying your a bad hunter, it is just the gun and load you are using just does not have much power.
Compare the bullet , a 308, and weight and velocity to a modern cartridge. Then see if you state will allow that modern cartridge, and if they do not, ask yourself why.

25 yards in the woods has the same power as 25 yards on the bench.
A 22 short between the eyes at 1 yard in the woods is the same as a 22 short at 1 yard in the woods. There is no difference.
I know your point. The Game Commission does do lots of experiments to see what is best and humane.
But there is a difference in Buck Fever and making the shot count.
I was in the woods about 2 seasons ago and could have killed a deer by ramming the arrow through it with my hand, and that is a lot slower than 300 FPS. But I was drinking my Coffee and didn’t want to be disturbed even for a Deer 😀 . I’m a sorry hunter 😛
I still have the rolling block 22 short we used to kill hogs with, as you stated right between the eyes and get over in the pen and stick him before he gets up, if you don’t you’ll have a bad day. Same with Deer using a 22 short.
The reason the Game commission wants us to use a 308 cartridge on a deer is because even a green horn should not make a mistake with it 😆
i have a full gun vault of Powder burners pistols and rifles and shotguns.
My 38 loaded with 3 grains of Bulls eye won’t go through the same 2X4 that the Corsair 308 devastated.
Now I don’t have a Foot Pounds of energy gage, but all I need to know is when the 308 corsair hit the 2X4 it riped it, and when the 38 hit it it didn’t go through it. That’s shooting at the same distance, and it took me 5 shots to hit a 2X4 3″ long with the 38 and the corsair hit it the first shot.
So being honest with results and not statistics, the 308 air rifle has more power than a 38.
That’s test bench testing. I can be wrong, but heck that’s why I’m here.

Butcher 45 ran some tests a while back, on various pistol cast bulltes in his guns, while he only fired limited numbers, some of his groups were astonishing, and he did it with a Korean gun.
RJ Porter gets some very good groups and killing power on deer with his Korean gun, and has bridged the gap from shooting equipment to Fishing tackle with it 😉 .
I agree with you on the 50 dragon slayer, it seems just too slow for me also, but I have been leaning towards the 45 Korean guns and I am waiting to see what the velocity results are on Subssonnics Big Bob tuned gun once he quits mutilating himself on power tools.
I have been a bullet caster most of my life, when my 101 gave up the ghost as a kid of 11, I tried casting lead slugs for my Crosman 150 with the salvaged barrel, didn’t work, but I was hooked. I have had as many as 30 plus bullet molds at one time. These big bore air rifles will probably get me doing it again.
