100 YARD .25 CALIBRE CONTEST!!

Today, after mowing my Ma’s lawns, and then having to use the strimmer(I think you guys call them weed whackers?) to clear 4ft X 300ft corridor, in absoultely appaling side winds ranging from about 5mph to 30mph, I managed this effort at 100 yards……
I was shooting prone, but was very wobbly with no back support.
This rig will without doubt shoot a sub 1″ group, probably tighter than that, but I need a good rest and some calm weather…
I only shot 3 five round groups ‘cos the wind was so high, this was the best..
Will be back to my Ma’s farm on Thurs so should hopefully have some better conditions to shoot in.

Heck Pabs, if you just aim south west at the right angle, you can use my
targets….I’ll run out and put some new ones on so we can tell where you are
hitting…lol

My House from Google earth
Yep and they just took the pictures of my house in Feb of this year… I think
the pictures were from 1995 before that… You can see my van in the drive
and everything… Pretty cool…. Now I can tell where my pellets will land in
any direction I want to shoot….
Just downloaded google earth. How cool is that!!
Shows the field I was in as 104 yards. But by the time you lay down and set up target against bushes etc, you lose a bit.

Dave, I just check both of my targets with Google earth and they are within
1/2 yd of my measuring tape and range finder. If it is saying 140yds then it is
probably really close… It does look just a tab it over 100yds in that second
picture…
