.22 LR vs. .22/25 Bp ( of any kind)
There´s been lots of talk whether an airgun in .22/25/30 beats an .22 LR in accuracy to 50,75 and/or 100 meters ( or yards) so i´d like to add a new thread where we can compare group sizing on those aforementioned rifles/distances to get out something more than assumptions and biased quesses out of it. I. myself, have been leaned towards to airguns – at least up to 50m. but i´m no longer all too sure about that. i love my EdGun but when the groups get all that much tighter with my .22 LR i´m beginning to wonder….

I got raped in that damned Cricket deal. That POS dealer (MWM Trading in Finland) still haven´t paid me back so i´ve now contacted the Police to get this sorted out. He´s one slimy Weasel who has taken money from few other guys as well and they´re also waiting for their Crickets to be delivered. I´ll buy one from another source soon enough and i also consider an .25 EdGun instead – this lousy del has left a bad taste for Crickets at the moment …
If i wasn´t wheelchair bound i´d fly over to Finland and squeeze that rifle out of his throat but it is like it is so now it´s up to the Finnish Police to sort things out.
In the meanwhile i´m playing the rimfire game and having a blast but i´d like to get my hands on a .25 cal Bullpup now. Well – soon enough!

I have indeed shot ammo produced in your country (MagTech) and word worthless doesn´t do the brand justice. The worst,dirties,most deviating ammo i´ve ever seen. No offence but if the participants were shooting something similar it´s a miracle they´re still alive. I´d stay very,very far from MT .22LR ammo.
in my case PCP’s hit any 22lr. In my country is only available ammo sucks. A Hatsan BT65 won a CZ-452 and CZ-455 at 50 and 70m (CBC 22lr ammo).
RC, next time you go out to your mountain retreat bring your metal plate and shoot some 600+ yard groups. Now that you have mastered the 200+ groups i’m curious to see what you can get at the longer distances. 😀

We have just about everything coming back in but 22s locally albeit higher prices on some stuff. I even picked up 15 boxes of the new 17 WSM rimfire for $14 per 50 20 grain 3000 fps. Can you imagine the stockpiles of ammo folks have at home now after Banana. 😆 No one in the history of the US has done so much for guns and ammo sales as our beloved leader.
Trouble is, this ain’t a couple years ago! 😥 Can’t even find .22rf here.
Honey-Boo-Boo? 😯 Like I said before, I have 30 bricks of Blazer Brass 22s and most of it cost $12.00 per 500 a few years ago or 2.4 cents a piece. The JSB 30 cal pellets I just got were $51 per 600 (buy 4 pay for 3 at Pyramyd) or 8.5 cents a piece . I may have to go back to the rimfire’s to afford ammo the way I go through it. 😮
FYI – There can be only one H 😯 😯 T. The International man of mystery. And no – i don´t give a rats ass about the RF ammo pricing since it´s roughly a double of that of high-end airgun pellets – which in turn i consider very low. No RF ammo shortage on this side of the Pond. Nanny-Nanny-Boo-Boo! 😎
