Maybe they figured there are more bullpups coming in the country then buyers. So many retailers fighting over the limited numbers of those who want them.
Reality is not every airgunner wants a bullpup. At one time they were scarce….now they are coming out of the wood work.
When the P 12 hits the shores for $700 it will not take much to drive their prices into the superior Cricket range. Once you add baffles, regulator, get rid of their shit scope rail and have the gun tuned…chances are it will the price of the Cricket.
The best buy is the Cricket right now and it looks like the retailers are willing to fight to get your purchase.

Bull Pup profit hey day might have ended, they have always been disproportionately high compared to other air guns. A re-configured trigger arrangment and pullpup stock never did justify the prices. I think Edgun pricing got it rolling and the others just made out like bandits for a time.
Got to talk to someone in the know today, who is in actual communication with kalibrgun (no I didnt find out actual production price) and from what was said no kalibrgun did not “lower their price” but being on the other side of the planet they werent going to enforce the MSRP as for them their not loosing any dough. Take it for what its worth but I’m inclined to believe them as the individual doesnt even sell Cricket (although they were interested in carrying them but not any more).

These guns cost under $1000 a gun way back. There was major gouging. I think WWAG was planning on making a big hit but didn’t plan on AOA throwing a monkey wrench into their plans.

But at the same time might not have the money to invest in more brands? We really don’t know exactly what is going on and I guess everyone is commenting on their views on how They see it. I could be dead wrong and Steve is just greedy and wants to make more money. Who really knows?

If you want to get right down to it WWAG has a poor business model with only one major product line. They are trying to compete with Home Depot by selling one brand of lawn mower. Risky business.
They clearly have no advantage at all. If AoA is doing this to hurt small competitors just because they “can” that is plain and simple awful. Many will think no big deal its always been dog eat dog but America didn’t become what it was 20 years ago by using these sleezy business tactics. America is going down hill because we are starting to believe we can use any tactic out there right or wrong to get ahead. Zero ethics is ok as long as I can put money in the bank. Did i mention greed? lots of greed.

If WWAG doesn’t lower their price they won’t sell their inventory. 😉 I would imagine he has received a few emails to this point with people saying they will go elsewhere if they don’t get the lower price.

I admit I dont like AoA and have NEVER made that a secret but NO GIVES ME ANYTHING for what I say or write on the forum. Would love to post all over the yellow telling people how I bought a FX Gladiator back when and when it had an issue was TOLD by AoA to open it up, well when the issue was found and called AoA to tell them they said I MUST HAVE CAUSED ISSUE BECAUSE IT WAS TESTED BEFORE IT SHIPPED! So do I have an ax to grind FUCK YEAH but no one need to give anything to do that!
