I made a revision to my valve design. Knocked out the body a few days ago, got the stem done today.
It glides in the body like silk, yet when I suck on it it pulls the stem up, and I cannot blow air past it. No o-ring required.
I am a lathing and milling god. Anyone want to buy one? I fancy a holiday in Argentina.

The Delrin arrived and I’ve made and fired a head, works a treat. It fits into the stem much better, but needs a little lever into the access-slot to lift it back out a tad before being able to pull it right out with the fingers.
