Q:

Don’t feel like the Lone Ranger on the broken Stock!

🙁 I recieved my R3 22 standard last Thursday. And the same thing happened to me. I didn’t want to post anything about it yet because I didn’t want to piss anyone off. I talked with Tony about it last week. He said it was my baby. So, I filed the claim with UPS. They wanted to p.u. my rifle for inspection too. I said Hell No! They already screwed it up once I’m not giving them another shot at it. So, they agreed to do an over-the-line inspection. It is in the process as we speak. I can’t stand UPS, this is the 2nd time this has happened to me on air rifles. If I were to order another Edgun I would make sure it had insurance on it as well.
On one good note, I shot it this weekend and it is a Damn Tack Driver! I will post some groups at a later date. My wife shot a clay pigeon at 65 yds free handed standing. At least it’s accurate

I got the electronic copy of this letter for you and forwarded it to you last night.
All guns were received with perfect stocks, they were shipped out with perfect stocks as well.
We’ve sent hundreds of them out without any issues, so I’d agree about great customer service.

Well, I called UPS yesterday and they said if I need any info. about the claim I need to contact the sender. So I e-mailed Tony. He stated that he got a letter last week stating improper packaging and they denied the claim. What’s funny about this is I requested a copy of the letter and Tony said he threw it away. Huh! Also he never e-mailed the status of my claim, I had to contact him 1st. Huh! I think it’s BULLSHIT that the sender or Ed or UPS is not going to do a DAMN thing about this. Especially when I filed a claim 2 hrs after inspecting it. Who in there right mind would send an expensive rifle without INsurance!! Great Customer Service! 👿

I recieved a FX rifle the same week and found a crack in the stock 10 days later and AOA said no problem we will take care of it. I will own another one from them.

As you all can tell I’m quite PISSED! I haven’t gave up yet.

How about an update on the claims process…

Let us know when it all gets fixed…

😆

Synopsys,

😀 😀 😀 😀

you’re a mind reader….. I have both of my dogs in the front yard waiting for it….. I’m sitting at my front door waiting for a new Edgun …… like you said

P.S. it’s the third dog on guard for UPS truck 😛 😛 😛

Ta

Ah, well that certainly makes sense…

Thing is they would probably just drop it off anyways, signature or not. 😡

I watch for the delivery truck like a pissed off guard dog on patrol. 😆

Synopsys,

100% agree with you about UPS or FedEx shipping company.

Couple month ago, I bought my AF Condor, they shipped it with Adult Sig & ID checked when I signed for it. I know those company just want to cover their ass with lawsuits. because my area has a lot of kids run around…… and I had lost couple packages since carrier left at my front door without ring a bell since I was home and wait for it

Ta

Since it’s a second packages damage….. I make me worry for my 2 Edguns….. I’m at home and waiting for UPS truck arrive…. 😳 😯

I hope my 2 Edguns arrive here safely…… Time will answer it

Ta

Adult sig is typically requested by the shipper. Big companies do it to avoid lawsuits and such, “cya” cover your ass so to speak. I have bought from a few places and not once was it shipped with adult signature required and if it was I didn’t sign anything to get it and my id was never checked.

Not quite sure why you bring it up… 😕 I think it’s like $5… Problem is if nobody is home they won’t leave the package and will try again the next day.

But i’m sure UPS will gladly take the extra $$ and do absolutely nothing to earn it. 😉

I have sold plenty of stuff and shipped it without adult sig and just asked in my correspondence for them to state they were old enough to buy airgun stuff.

FedEx and UPS both SUCK ASS.

I could crawl across the USA faster that FedEx Ground ships shit. Saying one is better is like saying one type of shit tastes better than another… 😆

The stock looks the same as samurai998. But, my soft case is OK.

John,

That’s suck with UPS shipping (it’s a second package damage), and another thing is No Adult signature required for high-end Edgun airgun….. I just wander how much it will cost to add in Adult Signatured required ( As I know for California it required 18 yrs old to buy a cheap Airgun at store and Online)

I hope my 2 Edguns get here safely sometime today…. otherwise I will be very piss

P.S. I still refer FedEx than UPS sh*t

Ta

Im with you, there’s NO WAY UPS would get the gun or stock. Pictures of the box and damage will do just fine. These are not readily available nor easily replaced. My box was beat to death as well but it was ok inside. Good luck with your claim.

Have some pics of the damage?
