Don’t feel like the Lone Ranger on the broken Stock!
🙁 I recieved my R3 22 standard last Thursday. And the same thing happened to me. I didn’t want to post anything about it yet because I didn’t want to piss anyone off. I talked with Tony about it last week. He said it was my baby. So, I filed the claim with UPS. They wanted to p.u. my rifle for inspection too. I said Hell No! They already screwed it up once I’m not giving them another shot at it. So, they agreed to do an over-the-line inspection. It is in the process as we speak. I can’t stand UPS, this is the 2nd time this has happened to me on air rifles. If I were to order another Edgun I would make sure it had insurance on it as well.
On one good note, I shot it this weekend and it is a Damn Tack Driver! I will post some groups at a later date. My wife shot a clay pigeon at 65 yds free handed standing. At least it’s accurate

That’s exactly what I would have written had I intended to then list personal observations. “Here is but a small sample from Wikipedia:” would have been appropriate. Or, you could have used the quote box feature.

I think the sticky got locked at just the right time. In fact, there are really just a couple posts that even need to remain there but I guess the process of getting to the answers ought to remain.
Ed and Tony have decided to not take any responsibility for what happens after they hand the package to the shipping agent. Of course, the piss poor packaging happened BEFORE they handed the package over.
The recently revealed but apparently not clear to customers, offers for full refunds are not wholly acceptable either. Someone waits a long time and instead of getting a new stock, it’s “here’s your money and get back in line?”
It makes no damn difference how many rifles got through safe with poor packaging. In fact, it supports the conclusion that UPS treats packages far better than the hysterics here accuse. Customer service gets serious when things go wrong for a customer, it is no consolation to that guy that 100 other guys got what they paid for.
Oh, a $2000 gun doesn’t have proper shipping priced in? Please. That’s just Bullshit. The guns need to be properly packed and sent with insurance and signature required.

Plagiarism is frowned on long before post graduate school. It is the authors’ job to make clear what is their work and what is taken from others. A couple words or a couple clicks could have done that appropriately.
You got called out and then you attack those who noticed. Honesty is just as important in ranting, frivilous or epic posts as it is in elementary school writing assignments or doctorate level work.
