The only other Chinese scope brand , that i know of , that uses glass from Schott is Vector. Their top scopes that is.
Make no mistake about it though : Neither EdGun nor Vector glass is even near the Schott first grade 😉
That said : A second/third grade Schott beats the shit out of any first class China junk.

Well, it is a kind of dejf vu now 🙂 as I head exactly the same when those scopes just appeared in Russia. When I announced them the “haters” were also quite sceptic. No problem I gave them scopes to test and with gnashing of teeth they admited that the picture is very clear and difer from “china” scopes they were thinking about 🙂 Keep going…
Good to be back ! 🙂

Ville, they are made in China. The glass is from Schott. My first test of tracking on the EDgun scopes are positive. As I said I will test the hell out of the turret tracking and put it on video.
P.S. Glad you are back Sir Ville :8:
I have a wild quess : These are made by the Russian manufacturer Bering Optics ??
If so the quality is actually quite good. Or are these marvels made in China ??

Thank you God for answering my prayers. Now let’s see swfa or Edgun? I feel that Swfa are a bit difficult to the eye. If these are even close to the swfa in quality and clarity I will be getting one for sure.
My first impression is positive. I like the low profile turrets, I like center locking turrets, the reticle is very useful for airguns and the glass is good quality for the price. The 34MM main tube is very good in low light. The scope is the same weight as my favorite SWFA. The eye relief is very forgiving and the turrets have a nice positive click. The side focus is smooth and the dust caps have a nice positive close and open on them. All in all I think the scopes are a good deal considering they come with rings, caps and sunshade. I’ll be doing a video soon.
