Greg your tune is looking great, that spacer really worked nicely. I may need to score one of those for the new barrel. Mine does 870fps max with the 15.9s but that will change with the addition of a choked barrel. I have mine set at 820 now because I get a bunch of shots when it falls off the reg in the 820s. Once the new barrel is in I may need to lower my setting to match whatever velocity it shoots at off the reg if there are enough shots to warrant syncing my tune to it?

Hey guys just to let every one know about that Dman !!!
In my case when I first got my Mutant Shorty I got very frustrated with the so called German/Korean Barrel with it’s pickiness with pellet batch/lots.
I’m just guessing that Dman viewed/read my tread here and from his side PM me and offered to help me with no regards of/to profit.

At 135 bar my max with JSB 16g was 815 fps with all the update below …….
Maybe I should update the history of my little one ……….. the Shorty.
History:
Out of box with choke-less (so call German/Korean) barrel, reg @ 146 bar:
JSB 18g = 830 fps peck max HST
JSB 16g = 860 fps peck max HST
added Listone Industry (Taiwanese) barrel upgrade from Dman, reg @ 146 bar:
JSB 18g = 800 fps peck max HST
JSB 16g = 830 fps peck max HST
with the addition of Dman Swiss cheese per-charge spacer, reg @ 146 bar.
JSB 18g = 820 fps peck max HST.
JSB 16g = 850 fps peck max HST
Don’t go and drill out your OEM spacer and risk it going BOOM, this one is thinner and a bit longer in length contact Dman if u like one.
So in conclusion I’m still -10 fps shy of out of box velocity but speed is not everything when it comes to accuracy ……. …
…… consistent accuracy comes with a price . more to follow went time permits if u please patient Sirs have more then one BP to deal with at atime. :banghead:

Greg my reg came set @ 137 bar and it’s been working great since removing all the grease and replacing the O-rings.
I think very nice result for that short gun like shorty is!! 😎

This is after changing the piston O-ring to Urethane 70 Duro ~ thanks to Dman, again ! 😀
Sixth crony result after the rebuild but it needs more playing in time, the first was inconsistent.
With reg tuned to 145 bar, fill to 220 bar shot down to 120 bar with JSB 16g I got 40 good shots at 823ish with ES ~7.5 and SD ~2.
It seems to hate a lower HST with reg tune to 145 bar, performs only at 817 and up to 850 fps is the max I’m getting with the 16g.
Next time I’ll try and lower the reg down to 140 bar to lower the speed a bit and it should increase shot count.

Gauge removal is simple to do I used two 2mm hex wrenches and clamped the non-threaded end in a vise with an old bike tire tube to protect it while turning the black cover cap by hand.
If anyone is wondering what the e-clip on the end of the fill cap is for.
It’s for the fill cap hold down so it can rotate freely.
145 bar measurement off of the reg.
My OEM pre-charge spacer length.
From end of AT to breather hole.
From end off pre-charge chamber to its O-ring seal outside edge.
