Looks like all the MAX buyers are back to square one
Looking at the posts over on the Yellow, seems it took all of an hour for the first new Evanix Max user to figure that the recurrent problems with the Speed also plague the new MAX as well. Sad part was that every MAX post couldn’t be done without bashing on the EDgun.
Even when it was pointed out again and again that it was too heavy, had Lego like look, and was totally unproven. It was gonna be the EDgun killer, now they’re all waiting on return labels.
Oh well, says something about buying proven quality and performance and not a bunch of hype. Think I’ll go another round this morning with my EDgun and do some more 1/2 inch groups at 50 yards….yawn.

Koreans are what they are, take them or leave them.
I buy them because of what they give me, never tryed to compare them to the Euro stuff, but if they wheren’t what they are and where a copy of the Euros I probably wouldn’t buy them.
they serve MY purpuses perfectly and I wouldn’t whant them to be any different, Perfect ? High Quality ? no, but How is looking for that ? not I 😀

ho yeah, you’ll get 40 decent shots no problem so the sdvertisment isn’t actually that far off.
But the hardcore airgunner (that actually knows it’s stuff) would have known that 20 Power shots would have being more in the ball park.
hey I can take 20 shots with the Benjis than 10 with the Predators and 10 with the H&N FTT and be on POI, 40 good shots :)…..Korean Gun Owners have known that for decades 🙂

my Edgun is a scapel, the MAX a Butcher’s knife
each has it’s place
the only thing they have in common besides being PCPs is that both are bullpups with a sort of 1913 rail
Exactly, my .25 cal Maurader gave me 16 shots at 45 FPE, to expect 40 would have being foolish.
My MAX has well over 1500 rounds, I had no Double taps or missfires, you need to learn how to use the Mag when using longer pellets and it will never jam.

I have no clue how to fix this velocity spread. Looks like me an Max are on a short term relationship. Due to the following reasons:
Heavy
Will only shoot JSB kings
Approx 25 double taps in 500 rounds so far
Extremely loud
Not as accurate as I had hoped, Prod was more accurate to 40 yards.
Does not get 40 useable shots as advertised.
Full auto un useable
Extreme spread is just not acceptable, wild velocity changes
No joy in Maxville at the moment.
Well, taking one review and make it sound like all the guns are like that isn’t really fair isn’t it ?
Nobody in the right state of mind would expect 40 shots out of this Korean powerhouses, 20 shot is the norm and they look good.
problem is when people buy Korean and they aren’t sed to them, they are powerfull, loud, and air hogs 🙂

And why would you even shoot that kind of string of the chrony, thats like expecting the 25 cal marauder to get 40 shots… 🙄
Most MAX, Speeds out there are working great, I never understud when people are trying to compare them to Edguns, total different cup of tea.
Edguns are great gun for the folks that are looking for that type and MAX is great for folk that look for that Type , Apples and Oranges

Max not for me for a number of reasons, but I’m happy to have any company pushing the boundaries for the bullpup market. Battery operated isn’t something that I really want to deal with but if it was there to power a electronic trigger then I might get interested.
I like the all blach look. I’d like to see it lose a couple of pounds and replace the metal foreground with a textured synthetic stock, actually the rear section as well.
