Looks like all the MAX buyers are back to square one
Looking at the posts over on the Yellow, seems it took all of an hour for the first new Evanix Max user to figure that the recurrent problems with the Speed also plague the new MAX as well. Sad part was that every MAX post couldn’t be done without bashing on the EDgun.
Even when it was pointed out again and again that it was too heavy, had Lego like look, and was totally unproven. It was gonna be the EDgun killer, now they’re all waiting on return labels.
Oh well, says something about buying proven quality and performance and not a bunch of hype. Think I’ll go another round this morning with my EDgun and do some more 1/2 inch groups at 50 yards….yawn.

I appreciate your insight on Hillbillies since everything I know about Hillbillies comes from watching the Beverly Hillbillies. As for Hillbilly shooting accuracy, I remember an episode where the Clampetts move in to their new BH mansion and see the two telephone wires on a pole at the entrance to the place about 300 yards away. Uncle Jed asks Jethro to shoot them down because he doesn’t know what they are. It only takes Jetho three, 300 yard shots, to hit the wires and cut them down but Uncle Jed gets mad at Jethro for wasting ammo!!!

Shaggy, I don’t have to take a refill tank along with my EDgun because I get 70 plus shots. The Marauder gets like 25?? shots per fill if I remember right. Plus I doubt I’d take a Marauder out hunting because it’s like hauling a pier beam around it’s so heavy once you get a scope mounted on it.

I have no clue how to fix this velocity spread. Looks like me an Max are on a short term relationship. Due to the following reasons:
Heavy
Will only shoot JSB kings
Approx 25 double taps in 500 rounds so far
Extremely loud
Not as accurate as I had hoped, Prod was more accurate to 40 yards.
Does not get 40 useable shots as advertised.
Full auto un useable
Extreme spread is just not acceptable, wild velocity changes
No joy in Maxville at the moment.
Well, taking one review and make it sound like all the guns are like that isn’t really fair isn’t it ?
Nobody in the right state of mind would expect 40 shots out of this Korean powerhouses, 20 shot is the norm and they look good.
problem is when people buy Korean and they aren’t used to them, they are powerfull, loud, and air hogs 🙂
