Looks like all the MAX buyers are back to square one
Looking at the posts over on the Yellow, seems it took all of an hour for the first new Evanix Max user to figure that the recurrent problems with the Speed also plague the new MAX as well. Sad part was that every MAX post couldn’t be done without bashing on the EDgun.
Even when it was pointed out again and again that it was too heavy, had Lego like look, and was totally unproven. It was gonna be the EDgun killer, now they’re all waiting on return labels.
Oh well, says something about buying proven quality and performance and not a bunch of hype. Think I’ll go another round this morning with my EDgun and do some more 1/2 inch groups at 50 yards….yawn.

First I see post where single shots are the best, then I see post where you all want a multi shot, then you all push Ed to the limit wandering where your Guns are and when you get it you all cry Wolf cause it has a cosmetic crack in it, then you jump on me saying I cant afford an Ed gun, well I can afford an ed gun I done bought an armory in guns since you all have been crying over a simple cracked stock,, then the Ddoge Hemey comes into the post a chicken shit car that stays in the shop more than it does on the road and is pulled to more gas stations that the Gas delivery truck can keep filled up and the same people complaine about the price of Gas, not to mention they stay on the road broke down, if it hadn’t been for my Centerion F-150 resuceing Dodge fanantics from the Inter State the roads would be lined up with worthless shit_for_car like the Dodge, so they can cry and say I can’t afford what I want, but this old dumb Hill-Billy Old Regular Babtisr has every thing he wants and can buy it back again if a tornado carries it off,. it’s not that Marauders are “junk”, just that they are a long way from a stock Daystate, FX, AA, ect…
I do think the .25s have good potential but as far as the .177s and .22s go you are money ahead buying a used higher end rifle…just my opinion
what Syn and RC stated is spot on the money
I love toying with QBs, great value rifles but everyone I own is extensivly reworked…one repeater in .22 the other two are custom .308s by Rich in MI

Bottom line it has a great action, valve and magazine, the rest is chinese shit of the first order.
And this year it seems all their offerings are just stolen european designs made cheaply by the chinese.
Like Syn says and I have been saying for a long time, what other air gun company has cottage industries operating full time making after market barrels for their poor shooting air rifles.
They should merge with Walmart and get it over with.
You guys forget that Shaggy has been spreading this “I have the best of everything and it has never been modded and is in mint condition” for some time now.
I first noticed it when he got a Corsiar and he touted it as a good candidate for game the size of deer and it would flatten a buffalo in its tracks.

I`ve learned a lot owning a m-rod.If they only put a better barrel and
stock on them.Crosman service is great and parts are cheap though.
Mine shoots pretty well now (newLW.630,ext,hdd)got about $800 into it
and it weighs about the same as my coffee table 🙁 I used it for BR a
couple of weeks ago and shot a 243-13x on my 2nd target ever.No its
no Edgun or Daystate but its been a good learning exp.
For hunting,its the Edgun.
Um, I think you may be confusing his interest in providing parts for highly distributed rifles for an acknowledgement of quality.
It is in fact quite the opposite…
The Mrod and the AF lines are ripe for improvements and that is why he tunes them. If they didn’t need tuning (ala Daystate and other high end rifles) he wouldn’t be offering services for those particular rifles.
There is one guy who has been supplying replacement barrels for the Mrod and he has a hard time keeping up with the demand. When was the last time you heard of someone rebarreling a Daystate or an FX because of accuracy issues? 😕
Take a MRod or an AF product and shoot a precision AG sport like silhouettes, field target or benchrest. There is a good reason why those two rifles are rarities in those events and even more rare on the winner’s podium when Daystate, Mac-1, AA, Styer etc are involved… 😉
the Marauder is a great value if you can find one used for three bills but it’s a poor investment buying one new when you can find AA410s and Daystates used for around $500.00
