Q:

Looks like all the MAX buyers are back to square one

Looking at the posts over on the Yellow, seems it took all of an hour for the first new Evanix Max user to figure that the recurrent problems with the Speed also plague the new MAX as well. Sad part was that every MAX post couldn’t be done without bashing on the EDgun.

Even when it was pointed out again and again that it was too heavy, had Lego like look, and was totally unproven. It was gonna be the EDgun killer, now they’re all waiting on return labels.

Oh well, says something about buying proven quality and performance and not a bunch of hype. Think I’ll go another round this morning with my EDgun and do some more 1/2 inch groups at 50 yards….yawn.

I asked him once about all the misspellings.

He claims he writes the way he talks.

I had to give him mad props for that.

I have two college degrees and I still have yet to master the talent of being able to misspell words when I say them. 😆

Shaggy,

It is really hard to argue against logic such as yours.

As usual I am awe struck at your knowledge in all things.

I do have one question though, how old was your sister when you married her?

Regards,

Roachcreek

WTF is a “ledgon” of history .How do you fix something with a “toll”
Might as well be discussing guns with your dog.

Where’s Dr. Phil when you need him?

You spent 50k on a truck?! 😯

I bought a truck 35 years ago for $500 bucks and it will shoot the nuts off a gnat at 300 yards and haul your overpriced poop carrier out of that mud puddle it’s stuck in at the same time!!!

YOU GOT ROBBED!

No wonder you don’t have any money to spend on airguns! 😕

No argument there, no way a camera can lye, I don’t think they contain enough limestone… 😕 😆

are top of the line snap on tools worth 30 times or more than Harbor Freight Chiwantainium tools?
AV gear, even pots and pans
sure, one can make do with lower end products but for me anyways I don’t have a woman lording over the family budget…my Hemi Chellenger was an impulse buy…was out here on the left coast dealing with a family estate…needed a car so walked in a Chrysler dealership next to my motel, found my car and wrote a check…money don’t freak me out, have pleanty and I can’t take none of it with me in the end.

I understand how just nutty it seems to many folks that others go out and drop the better part of 2K on a Max or an Edgun but I as a matter of routine invest twice or more that in antique arms that I’ll never use
a couple grand is a new wrist watch to me so you get the idea
I mean really…leave it in one of my money market accounts to collect shit all on interest? 🙄

I accept others simply can not do this…just the nature of things and always has been and will remain that way 😉

I use craftsam at half the cost, same tool same warnty, just more money in my poscket and I can exchange a craftsman in 3 locations close to home, a Snap on truck is hard to find when you need it,, Now you getting into my professional work I have done all my life, Snap on is a money Racket, Craftsman is a Toll for the Serious Mechanic, the only rachet that took the Transmisson out of my truck was a Craftsman, even the Snap On broke,, Uh wheres the truck? 😀 😀 Now I said I could hit lincols head on a penny I wasn’t talking about the entire penny with my 2506. It is a hunting Bolt rifle but the only thing that will do near as good is my 308 custom with the Springfield Armory Scope. And yes the ED is $2000 more than the Disco according to what I read here 😀 😀 ,,,, I also said with “ME” shooting the gun, I saw 300 yard shots with it hit a Quarter””Thats an American 25 cent peace” And the guy acctually aimed at the Quarter, he didn’t have to figure and calculate ,, But I can’t hit a dollar bill at 300 yards,,, Nope I dont use a clamp down bench either, that isnt the shooter shooting thats the gun and clamp. If you’re going to prove something use a shaky bench Like I have and a Bipod or a sandbag…. Heck man Ive seen you all shoot and load some of these $2000 guns, and it didn’t move when you cocked it back and incerted the pellet,,, cameras dont lye 😀 😀 😀 If I was going to buy a bench I dam sure wouldn’t complaine about how heavy a Maraud is 😀 😀 You aint going to carry that thing in the woods are ya???? 😀 😀 Us Red Kneck Hillbillies have a word for that type of shooting!! We call it fudging LOLOL,,, We can’t use nothing but an opening at a shooting match,, and I don’t see any of those one hole groups off handed or on an shaky Bench LOLOL Weee Doggies you bunch Of Sissys,, 😀 😀 😀 We start Boy Scouts out shooting like you professionals shoot,, not get off of the boy scout Junk you all are supposed to be grown up Adult Hunters who can drive tacks at 4000 yards,, 😀 😀 😀 You all build em and I’ll shoot em… Yep I’d love to have an ed gun but heres the problem, I don’t have to have someone to hold it while I pull the trigger LOLO same thing when you use those clamp down vises,, Not one of my Groups has ever been clamped down yaet you use a clamp down and compair the 2000 dollar gun with an old man shooting off of a shakey bench …. lolol UH Remember the Alamo? 😀 😀 😀 😕 ➡ PS. brag about your money I can match it dollar for dollar but I’m bot that stupid thats why I got some and from thelooks of things you stay broke.LOLOL And I dont have one penny in credit card debt either, and all my things including my new $50,000 truck is mine paid in full, how much did you pay for that peace odf shit dodge that stays broke down LOLOL I just had to go take my cuzin to the doc,,, he broke down on I-77 yep he was as stupid as you are he bought a dodge LOLOL Man it really shows when I hit a nerve LOLOL I just love you guys,,, Moe Larry Cheese Mo Larry Cheese 😀 😀

LT,

He claims sub 3/8″ five shot groups at 50 yards with the MRod… 😉

What do they say…?

“All flash and no photo.” 😆

Lincolns head on a penny at 75 yards?

You mean to tell me you get a 1/4″ group at 75 yards?

Puff puff pass dude, youz iz bogarting the chooms man! Your buddy Osmokem’s wants his joint back… 😀

Forgive the correction but Edgun is $1500 to $1600 better than the Marauder depending on how you buy the Marauder. You have to factor in that cost as well.

Shaggy I dont know if you are bullshitting, or your serious ❓

But crosman has a place, no where near the higher end guns though.

Crosman is bare minimum and you get alot more than couple more shots per fill with the higher end guns.

You get quality, you get out of the box accuracy (most of the time) you get consistency, and not having to replace every part of the gun like crosman guns force you to do.

And also you get better efficiency, not just more shots per fill, but efficiency.
Waste less air. Think about it, double your fpe, and shots per fill, easy out of the box accuracy, and quality, worth it for some people, not others. I love my marauder but it has its place.

😀 😀 Little bullshitting and a little fun,. Since when is a 900 PFS center hit from a top end gun, better than a 900 FPS hit with a Maraud a different center hit? And 50 shots per fill, OK there are bag limits on any game squirrels Rabits ect. I can shoot 3 clips from either gun befor I even turn it upside down and check the air gage. So top end One shot or top end fifty shots,,,, not to mention I haven’t even blown “one” O-ring on any of my low end Junkies and some of them are 15 Years old, tells it all. lOLOL Today I fired my Ruger *another Junk Gun* by some peoples standards, it is a 2506 all three shots would cut Linclons head on a penny, at 75 yards, yet it is junk, not to mention it is 20 years old and climbing, and looks like it just came off the sporting goods wall, a Master peace in My Humble opinion,. 😀 😀 😀 If you want to know anything about Junk just ask I own a Junk Yard plum full of it, still working as it did the day I bought it, and I don’t see them quiting anytime soon LOLOL By the way my First Airifle was a V-350 crosman, I think that particular gun is in the Firearms Hall Of Fame,, however don’t get confused it isn’t the one I had, my dad broke mine over a tree when my little pesky Brother shot a neighbor with it LOLOL,, leave it up to dad to destroy a Ledgon of history,, like some here he just didn’t know any better LOLOL 😀 As Is aid and I’ll say again you all make em and I’ll shoot em LOLOL. PS…. Ed is the best but not $2000 better,, I’m basing my opinion on the groups I see on here, now I’m hoping they are the distance you all say they are, at least I do trust the Post here, and take them for the Gospel,, Far Be It BY Me to Doubt you guys, I never one time called on Snoops dot com to do an investigation LOLOLOL 😀 😀 😯

It’s Shaggy once again salivating over an EDgun trying to dress up his Marauder with hyperbole to help him ease the pain of not having one.

Anyway, My first two PCP’s were Marauders and they both shot tight groups at 50 yards. I got lucky especially on the .25 cal Maurauder. Problem for me was, they were just too friggin big and heavy and the stocks that came on them were poorly finished and made of some super soft wood. But for the money they were certainly good values. I think if someone asked for an inexpensive, out of box PCP shooter I’d point them towards a Marauder.

If weight was an issue then maybe a Talon SS. But for you that would be way over your Dave Ramsey style budgetary airgun taste.

Shaggy:
owned many discos, still own a couple Marauders but to make either do what I want and look acceptable to my eyes means I end up with well over a grand additional in the Maruader
for me discos were just a parts set for building PCP pistols
the Marauder while better than the disco in many respects still has about the worst ergonomics stockwise known to man
great guns for the money but Yugos were great cars for the money too 😆 😆 😆

but again it’s apples and oranges comparing a bolt action repeater to a select fire machinegun 😉

And before you say the Edgun will match it, remember the Edgun is a regulated rifle.

Well, I know how to make a direct flow gun (without a regulator) and the string will be almost the same with a little more deviation, usually about 300 m/sec +/- 5 m/sec. I do it for those who want very powerful gun, it is easy to get more power from unregulated gun then from regulated. But I never had a string going down shot by shot.
