Mouning Scope on Cricket

I got 25 back from repair. Stupid lay gun on side where side lever rubs on plate and dinged it up. Non the less long story short gun is 4 mils low and one mil left when scope is optically zeroed at 25 yards. I have burris with inserts and will try to get it back as close as possible. I tried differant mounts too and they are spot on with the burris with the Zero inserts on rings. I took more care this time to have scope optically centered and it bothers me why its out that much. Is it normal? BTW gun shoots one holers at 25 yards with AA pellets for a whole clip. I am real happy with that because AoA had a 20 yard 5 shot group that was far from one holer. To make matters worse i lost the instruction sheet for the burris mounts so i guess i will have to find some on internet.

eelect, I just got her this month from WWAG. It’s a .25 and the gun is shooting 950 with the JSB kings. It is a pellet stacker. I am very happy to say the least. I have a Clauge 2 piece shroud in the mail that should be here by friday so I will post pictures when it comes. The scope reticule is a little different in that the dots are not mil-spec, and they are set up for the 556 nato but with practice they do work with the 25

How new is this? Looks great

I like everything about that Scope, except its reticule.
Almost bought one …

Looks like my Sako RF groupings at 50 meters πŸ˜€ Nice !

I just had a friend over this weekend, I was out showing him my cricket and he was telling me about a Sako .223 he owns. I don’t think he told me the model but he swore the darn thing was a tack driver, he also said he dropped a coyote on the spot at like 250 yards with it. They sound like good guns, I may have to go to the local gun shop to see if I can have one orderd. What do you think of the centerfire models?

Sako and Tikka ( the little brother- company/brand) make exceptional Firearms. Very accurate and very dependable Rifles. Their CF rifles are second to none. Guaranteed to shoot 3/4″ groups at 100 meters, with commercial ammo, by Sako/Tikka.
Go check one out – ask after Tikka T3 Super Varmint or T3 Sporter to see my two favorities in .223.

I used Weaver mounts on this new Bushnell AR 4.5X18X40 compact scope. This scope has amazing clarity and light gathering capabilities. For the price I don’t thing you could beat it. Plus it has side parallax wheel. The MOA adjustment is spot on and one could use the supplied target turrets for a BDC. I picked this one up at Optics Planet.

After finally centering scope I decided to shoot a five shot string at 20 yards

Ted has a new video on the FX No Limits mounts. They look really slick…. but not sure if they have Picatinny version.

When I took scope off gun and put it in v-block it made a 3″ circle that’s how far off center scope was. Took a while but got it centered very close.
Going to mount scope with new rings with inserts tonight.

Zonk they eat my apple trees. Plus they make good stew!
That was the first rabbit taken with cricket. Bought it with wood stock

What that rabbit ever do to you??

How about this one

That’s the nicest looking stock i’ve seen on any Bug thus far.

Can you post a picture of rings from the other side? Thanks

Sorry, I missed your request at first. Here you are:

BTW, I think I got some really nice wood on my Cricket. πŸ˜€

Shooting with the ATP72’s is great. The scope is mechanically centered now so I don’t run out of adjustment and range finding is easier. My cheek weld is great too! Warmest recommendations, but measure first – if you present mounts are higher and you already have a tight cheek weld, these mounts might not be for you.
