It might be a good idea to wait and see what the issue is and not speculate about it. My gun is no1 out of the prouduction line if I have understood it right, an definitely no 1 with fixed shroud. I´ll get back when I know more.

quote bjosse:

There will be a serious test regarding accuracy of the Impact later. The threading on the tube was ok, the problem mentioned is actually the bushing to the shroud. The reason is that the actual gun is the first in the world without telescopic shroud, and there is another bushing that shall be mounted. Human error on ex no1 with fixed shroud. No big deal. I will get back with test results in a week or two depending on weather conditions (affects me, not the gun)

That doesn’t make any sense though – a shroud bushing ?? How come a shroud bushing makes the AT to make contact with the barrel/shroud when the AT is turned ? And once turned half a turn again there’s a great gap between them two ?? All that without ever touching the shroud in any way ?
Human error , of course , but that sure as hell had nothing to do with the shroud.
Think about it for a minute .. 😉
When do you get it back from FX ??

I must admit I like the look of the Impact and the initial shot strings look very promising. The issue I find most troubling, the fact that 99% of the post regarding the New Game Changer are from a chosen few that received free IMPACTS. 1899 + 440 + 89 = 2348, S&H ? Ok we all spend to much on air guns.
Fredrick, send Sir Ville a sample, hell he can drive over and pick it up. Better yet he can send one of his hot daughters!!!

I can sample Bjosses Impo when needed. That one is a true prod gun and not any hand picked example 😉

It’s not heavy by any means , but idk the exact weight. And it feels very nimble . Like said i liked the ergos, the trigger and the loading mechanism too.

How much did one of these badboys weigh again? In metric units please

Yep! Those guys are well known for the un-biased info regarding FX.
You really won’t like any review except the ones praising the Impact. Good luck !!

Tjena bjosse! Gött att se dig :biggrinn:

Det kvittar vad du säger Ville så blir det bråk

Tjena Bullpup! Må väl 😎

Right on! After all it’s your gun i’m talking about here. Don’t know why it became such fuss .. :0

I have to add one thing that i´ve actually missed and further clarify another :
The Impact Magazine isn´t all plastic. The housing itself is indeed made out of aluminium. I´d rather have a different kind of design for it nevertheless since i never liked the Royal mag and this is about the same design. The mag works as intented – it´s just that i don´t like the way it´s intented to work since it´s very easy to pinch a Pellet while i load it with my fingers that resemble a bundle of Knackwursts.

Furthermore : I thought Mr LOIC being someone else than he apparently is and thus got a bit too excited during the discussion. I very seldom do that 🙄 so i apologize. My bad.

Aaaww – that’s what makes Forums like this great . People from all over and different, mixed nationalities. Good stuff ! 🙂

born in Peru, raised in Italy, came back to Peru for several years and now im here in Cali!
