I personally shot both, i owe a .25 cal Cricket, every time i shoot it puts a smile on my face, i shot Keyser’s Vulcan and i can tell you its a Tack Driver!, he was able to hit shooting clays pass 200 yards!
Impact IS a great idea and surely a great gun too – actually the only FX i’ve thought of buying. Well , i thought about the WC first but that never stuck.
Anyway – i know AS I SAID IN THE BRIEF REVIEW that there are several great attributes with the Impo – the ergos, the trigger, the smooth and effortless cocking and the innovative solutions and so on. I also stated that the gun was hardly shot thus not properly broken in yet. That is something we can better though : The owner is a good friend so i can get to shoot it whenever i desire. I think .. 😉
I can’t say i don’t like the Vulcan – or the Cricket if i truly do. I find them both very nice Bullpups and like the rough edges on them. Mostly i like the accuracy and , in my case , the Tank- like dependability. I haven’t shot the Vulcan too much but the Cricket i did so i fell in love with that nasty little Bugger.
The Vulcan has been working flawlessly too.
Neither can i say i fell in love with the Impo, since i didn’t. It’s like when dating a new Girl : If she turns out being boring and her Mommy looks like a spoils of War then the first encounter didn’t went well.
In this case though it was more like the Bitch passed gas ( the leakage ), the Pussy was sideways ( the messed threading ), and that she was just weird ( the mag ).
As a side note : I have pretty good idea who Mr LOIC is. Definitely not a WRC driver – that much is certain.
My deepest symphaties go for those whos GF´s Mothers do look like spoils of War. It´s NOT your fault.

You guys are funny! there is not need to fight to make your points across. i know everybody has their own test on guns, some might be more attractive than others,maybe for their looks, features, performance etc, etc. One thing for sure is the Vulcan is an “amazing” gun and the reviews from normal people like us prove it. On the other hand i think the Impact seems to be a great idea, i really like the fact that you can adjust the power for one caliber or dif. calibers, also is aTDR a big plus for a motorcycle transportation! :winkn: i dont think it will be a pain in the ass if you know what you doing by changing the settings. i just hope they wont come out with mayor problems, i dont think a leak is a big deal if its fixible.

That’s why you order the parts directly from the Manufacturer.
You can buy any Arm you want , right or left , for what i care and what comes to a “trusting test ” – what do you thing would be a trustful test ?
You asked me why i thought the Vulcan was better and i gave you an answer. You didn’t like it ? Fine. A leak is , of course , rasy to fix but it’s still a leak and the FX line has had its fair share of leaking things, don’t you agree ?
I also pointed out the bad threading on the AT junction and while that too can be fixed thru warranty it doesn’t give a good first impression. That coupled with the leak didn’t impress anyone on the Range.
I was waiting this thing to come out and see if i’d have one but as is, before those things are fixed, i won’t.
You , on the other hand , seem to be promoting the Impotent. Have you even shot one ? Hold one ?? Seen one other than in Teds videos ???

you only say that vilcan is better..but for what?just only the price of the magazine and perhaps for the easy way that the magazine can be reloaded!!
come on! it s not a big reason!
the vulcan has almost no reseller in europe!!so for me it s the worst thing you can have for an airgun!(pcp are more fragile than firearm..you need to change some parts time to time)
fx accuracy is very good,build quality is very good too…so if everything working well for this gun,it could be the best for the buck!

Vulcan shot considerably more accurate than the Impact – thus it’s better. It doesn’t leak – that makes it better. I can get any parts for it within a couple of days and i get two mags , much better ones than the FX afterthought, for the price of one.
Most bang for your buck ? That comes from a MF that hasn’t shot , hold nor seen one in real life.

The ability to tune a gun is a true curse. For us obsessive compulsive types the quickest way to insanity is a gun that is that tune-able. I hear this argument all the time, my gun shoots many different pellets…who in the hell cares. It takes me so long to fine tune a PCP to shoot 1/4″ groups at 50 yards already without adding other pellets to my equation. Honestly, I would go for one of these super soakers if the moderator was like the one shown with the prototype. I wait a year for one of you guys to figure out how to make the gun quiet.

I promote no Vulcan – nor any other PCP. I’ve owned EdGuns, Crickets, Daystate and Vulcan and like the Vulcan best of them all , except maybe the Cricket Compact .177 .
