Re: Matador Reg kit to get .25 34gr JSBs up to speed

The EDgun regulator is one of the best in the world. It is straightforward and efficient. The regulator is capable of almost 1 FPS extreme spread. Wingman did an excellent video where he showed that variation is caused by external factors, not the regulator. So the Huma advantage comes from its low profile, this gives more volume in the plenum. I would put it on par with the Edgun regulator regarding efficiency

In the standard, the speed I can achieve realistically is 790 to 810 with the Huma and 34s. The long will hit about 830 max. I don’t like the current set up, and I would like to run the regulator at 120 and get speeds of 880 in the long with 34s. I have some ideas how to do it, and Wingman is going to help.

So be patient I am working on a solution to get more speed and not redline the capability of the Matador

According my test or crony for 25 gr I couldn’t find Redesigned jsb 25 gr but regarding Huma tune power kit my regulator pressure is 125 bar but it was very good group when air tank around 170 to 140 or 130 bar
I should trying to find best accuracy pellets when my reg pressure set on 130 or 140 bar
Best results i got for Huma tune power kit
Air tank pressure between 130 to 170 air tank

According Mr.wingman reply to me about questions for 25 gr i set my Huma kit on 125 bar i ll trying to test and let you results
:5:

Ok but i m worry for increasing to 150
Maybe my vale and hammer is broken
Did you try to increase to 15

Maybe the .22 34 gr is not the pellet you should shoot. The .22 25 gr looks like a better choice.

Just treat 150 bars as an upper limit. 10 bars up is more or less 10m/s increase in v0.

I should inform you my edgun is matador r3m long 22 cal

I did this time and already is ok
I have edgun matador 22 r3m long
I did set huma reg on 130 and hammer weight i did test with jsb 25 gr , maximum speed was 276 m/s but 34 gr jsb only 246 m/s
For next try I should increase huma reg to 140 and then start to corony 25 gr and 34 gr jsb
Do you have any results about thise pellets Edgun 22 calibr???

Put your huma set at 140 bars and you can have your 265m/s with it.

I had the hammer weight come loose on mine. I added some glue the next time I installed it and so far it has come loose again (although I have’t had much time to shoot it).

Hi
Would you please help me
About weight hammer,my problem for install is weight hammer is losing after 10 shoot so
May i can make hole on hammer weight

That’s strange. I’ve installed the kit on two different guns and the hammer weight hasn’t moved on either.

Make certain you are orientating the flat of the weight properly on the hammer. Secure to hammer by tightening one set screw to make contact with hammer and then tighten the other to make contact. At this point, snug each set screw but don’t strip it as you’re dealing with bronze.
