Tactical Sniper
Decided to bite the big bore bullet and ordered a Evanix Tactical Sniper in .357 last night the after santa 10% discount made it hard to resist.
I friend that I converted to air guns had just gotten a Rainstorm 3D bullpup, was a hoot to shoot so I had to get my own, didn’t want the same thing, couldn’t afford the semi autos so went with the sniper. :4:

Trying to Get PA to send me a new barrel, failing that I’ll pickup either a Tj or LW
I would scrap that barrel in a heart beat. Don’t try and save it as something inside of it is soooooo messed up that it can’t be save (I think)

well I am just about convinced this barrel is a piece of shit, pushed a pellet through and it got really hard about 1″ from the muzzle

That’s weird, like there is something in the barrel that either squeezes the pellets (?choke?) or something sharp that peels the lead of the pellets. this is the second patch through, I had found these the first couple of times I cleaned it so I rounded the inside edge of the port in the barrel, either I didn’t do it well enough or is shaving the pellets somewhere else…… 😯
I spoke with Woody on the phone and he said order through the website. He also answered a few questions. Thing is when I made the order (which isn’t really making an order, it’s a request to make an order) I got no response. And get this, they want a fax number or you can’t send the form.

Either way I’m going to have to buy a new tool to do the inside oring, simply don’t have the patience anymore to grind the right bit :butkick:

If it’s another stock barrel, do the same thing when you get it- push a couple of pellets/slugs throught it. See how they look… If they look alright, then I would lap it, and re-do the crown… it wouldn’t hurt. :2cents: If they’re going to charge you for the barrel, I’d still say screw it and get a .257 barrel and just sell the pellets/slugs you have.
