I talked to R&L on Friday and they say it’s still slated for Dec 1st, but we’ll see…
I e-mailed them. I have a TalonTunes carbon fiber Bottle, it has the same thread as the FX bottles used in Impact Royale and boss. I was wondering if I would be able to use it on the Priest but they said it was not thesame thread. They also said they are trying to find a Carbon Fiber Bottle for the Priest, but that they are very expensive and would raise the price of the gun. If you know a manufacturer that is not too expensive you can tip them off
I think the Mutant is the better gun but this Priest has potential. After all, CZ barrels!! :biggrinn:
Thanks Cricket,
The priest just came up a few points in my book.
I have good feelings about this gun, Just my gut , And you being from there side of the world saying they seem to be good people makes a good impression on me, You seem to know what is going on in your side of the earth, Good people do not sale bad products , So I am guessing you are giving the Priest a thumbs up as far as you can tell. I know you can not see into the factory, but you have talked to the people building the guns and that says a lot.
For me its now a 50 50 run off between the Mutant 25 and the priest,
Its a tight race,
Mike
I think it looks a bit rough around the cocking area It might need a good polish and lube on the internals.
I have no doubt that it is tuned for optimal performance from the factory so no HST is a pro and con situation. Pro is that there is no HSTA that will back out from the vibrations. On all my Crickets I’ve had to use loctite on the HSTA to keep it from backing out.
The gun (from Gregors video) Seems a bit loud, that’s a turn off for me. The shroud needs work, I don’t think it is even baffled. So baffle inserts would be nive and a fatboy as well.
I have no problems with the manufacturer, nice people. I’ve sent several emails and always get a polite reply.
It’s a bummer that they didn’t use the same thread on the bottle as the FX bottles and the TalonTunes CF bottle. Otherwise you could buy the TT CF bottle and replace the original (if it fits)
That’s the first I’ve heard about the threads being different. Where did you hear/see that information?
To Hatsan I would also say don’t waste your money. Each to their own. Turkish guns are rough and heavy and rust easily. In my country they have a terrible reputation and are not exactly known for their accuracy or efficiency. But America seems to think differently, probably because they are cheaper there, overpriced here.
It would certainly benefit from proper tuning but it has potential of being a very nice gun when sorted out properly. The build quality is about the same as Hatsands based on what I’ve been told. I wouldn’t get a regulator from that website but buy one from HUMA. Rumor says that Kral PCPs are available in December from Pyramyd.
That’s a great question Mike.

Cricket,
Just wondering, What is your take on the Priest,
Your from the other side of the world so your view may be different than mine,
The Priest seems so simple what can go wrong???
If you need to take this of line you can PM me.
Mike
Don’t waste your money, the Kral is a Turkish bullpup and so it suffers from the common problems from a Turkish gun, you get what you pay for.
RKR,
Now that is one I have not heard of. Looks good also which is a plus but I look for the performance more.
It listed it as 48j for energy. That it not the max it has is it? Didn’t list the barrel length or the OAL of the bullpup. Least I didn’t see it anyway.
Then the biggy stuff, like can they ship here to the USA and just how much???
Trigger adjustable and is it two stage or? I did see they have a few options such as trigger adjusted, but is it adjustable? The regulator you can option for, I guess its adjustable to help get energy where you want it.
Really good looking bullpup. I would like to kknow more about it for sure. I will admit though, I am just about all in on a mutant of some size 🙂
There is a few questions like can you get the Mutant in a long and if so, how about specs of it like barrel length and OAL? Then the energy level @ max for both the
.22 and .25 and shot count?
How about the tank on the standard and long, it the same on all three?
Kral Puncher has externally adjustable transfer port like FX and AA and it doesn’t break the bank either. Uses the same basic design as Evanix rainstorm.

Thanks for the info on the st… That problem is why I wonder if anyone with that sort of barrel ever try a solid round, its shot well with a really slow twist barrel. The st’s don’t sound like they like the traditional pellet profile so great.
Would be interesting to shoot a few round ball ammo through one for a “look see”…
I have one old Benjamin pumper that was built for nothin but solid round ball ammo, .22 caliber that usually weighs in @ 14.3 gr. Per ball; I buy the buckshot size “F” as its cheaper and it works great for that old rifle. Its got the tube magazine on top of the barrel that holds like just under 100 rounds. For a pumper its awesome.
I like shooting the ball ammo like this when it’s done accurately. It won’t ever replace the Diablo profile pellet, its just a neat round that is fun to shoot. Man if the st barrel shot the ball ammo well and really hard, that would be freakin awesome for me anyway, as I would love to have a pcp with a magazine that you could shoot them and really smoke’m 🙂
I remember as a young boy I killed way more with them than anything else. They will just bust right through the
Toughest wing bones and feathers that I have seen many times pellets hit the big birds and just bounce off without a kill. Knock the heck out of the prey, just not kill them.
Anyway, thay is my curiosity about a barrel profile that could use the ball ammo, I would be guilty of having one fitted to a PCP bullpup or whatever just to shoot about, in a .22 or a .25… Priest or a Mutant would be cool for that. Heck even the FX Impact would be great if it shot the rounds well by some weird chance and that is all that is wrong with that rifle.
It would be really great also to have a bullpup that you could adjust the energy level for, that you were going to shoot different weight’s of pellets for different allocations. That and not spend 2K $ to get that option.
Thanks NP, do you also remember twist rate?

Well I for one look forward to owners reviews. I like the look of it and according to Gregor, RTI has a “strong R&D Department” He said they have some interesting stuff coming over the years so people buying their guns is great funding for whatever is in store, and hopefully builds a great reputation if the Priest is a good gun.
