Q:

Cricket or Edgun POLL

Which do you prefer and why?

I don’t have neither but looking seriously into the Cricket. To me it has all the advantages over Edgun: price, shot count, superior regulator, magazine (that works) and looks. I’m going to wait a few months to see if they come up with a .25 compact. Otherwise I think I will get the .22 tactical standard. I just love the size of the .22 standard. Would prefer the .25 but it’s a little too long for me…

Cricket is the best in terms of maintenance and powerful and precise air power and provides cutting the price and there are no errors

I don’t have either myself, but If i were to buy it would be a Cricket!!

You´re right – it´s your poll. I just wonder what people that have experience on only one , or none , of those guns base their opinion on ? Hearsay ? Assumptions ? Are they quessing ?? Tossing coin ??? Asking the spirits ?

This is MY poll and I’m declaring that you do not need to own both or either to participate. I value everybody’s opinion in this. I do not own neither but already came to a conclusion that the Cricket is superior from what I’ve read. And believe me I read a lot.

A good idea right there but to be able to make a real comparison you actually need to own, or have owned, both. 😎

If not I can see why your vote went to the edgun…if I only had one rifle obviously my vote would go for the new toy I have…but you need to base your vote open minded and without bias.

I thought he already voted when he laid down his hard earned cash for it. Some people dont even have an EDgun but still voted for the Cricket. 😯 😯 😯

Some people do not even have either gun, may still can vote. How about showing some integrity by proving ownership first, then you can vote?

just my opinion

Brother Urgir;
OF COURSE I DON’T OWN CRICKET AND I OWN ONLY EDGUN AS A BULLPUP, I OWN BEJAMIN MARAUDER… BUT I HAVE MY REASON TO VOTE FOR EDGUN….

i don’t want to mention every thing here…. and for the main purpose my Edgun is very good…. so why Edgun will not be my vote????

and your comment is correct ….

I tested both and settled on the tactical Cricket which for me personally felt a better fit for all shooting positions. The Cricket was a lot quieter, and the flawless 14-shot magazine sealed the deal for me. Two great guns, both a pleasure to shoot!

Cricket all the way!!!! Better trigger, quieter, cheek piece, magazine, accurate, better customer service, available.

Its a tight race! The Competition is great for us! It probably should have said Cricket or Matador or Bobcat although Bobcat’s seem to be the Obamacare of the bullpup choices right now.

my vote for sure went for :8: :8: :8: :8: :8: :8: EDGUN

I got my 22 Cricket in March of 2013 and it was set to 903 FPS for JSB 18s. 2000+ shots it is still 900 FPS on 18s. Still on 1st valve.

Also, we must remember a Cricket will shoot a 18 gr @ 850fps and a Edgun @ 900-920 out the box , something to keep in mind when considering efficiency.

My Cricket is very accurate only up to 200 shots, then the barrel requires cleaning….Edgun I only cleaned it once after about 2000 pellets.

Edguns are special !!!!

The spare parts availability -or almost total lack thereoff – is the biggest gripe with that gun. The rest is fixable if one’s the least handy.

Sent from a Tab my wife lured me to buy … If your Aunt has a pair of hairy balls does that make “her” your Uncle ?

Hope Tony has more parts for Edgun avail. here. Just like Cricket.
