So, can we expect Ted to do a Cricket review NOW? Let’s see: some possible talking points/highlights:

1) “I’ve been wanting to review one of these babies for a long time, just didn’t have the time. And
this winter has been murder (hope no one invokes that I shot my Edgun on gusty freezing winter
days… Don’t forget to inject my Ted chuckle).”

2) “You all know I’ve been reviewing bullpups for a long time. Most of you remember my Edgun. AND THE
BOBCAT. Well,” (I shake my head in enthusiastic consternation and disbelief, give the Cricket stock
a slap of my hand– like the gesture and talk-up of the Bobcat trigger. Then:) “Ha-a-a-n-ds dOwn,
this gun easily matches any bullpup I’ve shot before (I avoid saying Edgun a second time, no inadvertent
reminding everyone of “The Other Bullpup” prized by many—and me, actually). Especially at this price point…
I don’t know… I think I have TWO go-to guns now, my Bobcat and this baby (can’t diminish the FX in any way.
Then I crinkle my eyes, and the Ted Chuckle again).”

3) “Let’s shoot some groups at a 100 yards (the Cricket can shoot a 100 yards, in my hands;
the Bobcat, well, there’s a reason I didn’t shoot it at that range).”

4) “By the way– you can get one of these babies at AOA… And, you know, I just may shoot
this beauty at the AOA Benchrest in November (this time I won’t put a camera on it like I did
my Edgun; but my former loyalists still saw me shooting what I was known for, and what made my former
reputation. I wasn’t going to win; no way AOA, I made sure… We’ll see).

5) A shot of my cats staring up at me holding a couple of pigeons I shot for them with the Cricket
when I got home from the range.

6) And, finally, “Thanks for watching.”

Thought I’d have some fun. Saw a guy over at Yellow get reprimanded by Steve
for saying something about him on that super long post from today
about the AOA price-cut of the Cricket. Maybe it was about another Ted. Anyway, seen some
posts about Ted over there over past few months, Steve deletes them, saying “No bashing Ted”
or something like that. I wonder what this PAQUETE guy said today. In any case,
Ted is on AOA’s team, not the little guys that those guys on the Yellow
are sorrowing for…… It’s just business.

I think the Yellow has removed the post about this Sale… or I just could not find it anymore.. three hours after I saw it.

They send me 285 $ back

All the posts I’ve seen as of late about defective products from AOA have all been bobcats and FX , if someone could kindly point me in the direction of a post where someone ordered a cricket from AOA, experienced a problem, asked to have AOA repair/replace it, to which they (AOA) refused….. if you can show me the proof I will rest my case and hope I get lucky. Otherwise I don’t think I have anything to fear from purchasing from AOA…..

Find me someone that bought a Cricket from AoA. I haven’t heard of ANYONE who has bought a Cricket from them. Now look at what people are buying from AoA and see if you start to see a trend.

Yes your right, FX has had a shit ton of problems as of recently, no doubt about it, but that’s FX not Kalibrgun nor AOA’s fault. Sure there was that whole problem with AOA installing a bunch of BobCat regs wrong or whatever but in my case all they do is receive a box from Kalibrgun, I send them my money, and they ship me the gun. They are only the middle man as far as I see it. If problems do arise (which I sincerely doubt they will) it will be problems from the factory and not from AOA. And according to AOA’s site they will accept back products with defects from the factory for refund or replacment. Thats all the assurance I personally need…..

Not talking about JUST FX it goes for many different brands they carry.

quote SECoda:

Charlie Frear has the entire shipment in Atlanta and ships the guns for Steve.

Which means he already knew the answer he supposedly asked implied AOA (referenced in the post I copied) or he really didn’t even ask them anything. Not identifying himself as WWAG on the Yellow in that post was slippery at best.

I maybe wrong but last I heard Peter from top air gun imported them for WWAG.

Here is a post from the Yellow where WWAG partner Charlie throws in his two cents. He seems to indicate the manufacturer lowered their price unless he is just stirring the pot.

I called a big retailer today…

Response to What is wrong with the Airgun Industry Here in the U.S.

The price they were offering on the Cricket just seemed to low to believe. They said the manufacturer had lowered the price so they decided to pass it on to us. I question why a manufacturer would willingy drop the price that much on an item in such a high demand with low supply.
The next thing I want to know, is why the FX Bobcat cost so much more.

Charlie

Charlie isn’t a “WWAG partner”!! Haha he’s just a yellow member. WWAG is made up of Steve and Kat and have some sort of business arrangement with Peter at Top Airguns thats it.

You are incorrect. In fact WWAG guns get shipped directly from the manufacturer to Charlie now in Georgia and are distributed by him from there.
