Mrodair Compressor Guinea Pig
Hello, a newbie to PCP’s here.
I put in a pre-order for the upcoming Mrodair “Airmax” compressor
Thus, far just an automated acknowledgment receipt from Yahoo and haven’t heard anything more re ETA.
Yep, guinea pig ordering a new product. Hopefully it works out.

I’m giving mrodair a lot of credit for trusting the customer to send it shipping cost. They sent out the units paying all shipping cost up front and trusting that they will be reimbursed. At $60 a pop that’s a lot.
I know a lot of people are nervous about having to prepay and haven’t received compressor yet. It will come soon! I got the basic unit so those who ordered those will get them quicker than with the upgrades.
Mrodair, you need to have some type of response for customers. I know it’s a two person operation and you’re busy, but not having 2 email replied make me a little upset.
But thanks just the same
I see you’re using your same fine business “skills” and calling people names on here too. Do you honestly think this is good for your “business”?
I’m fully capable of posting on this forum myself there noob.
But thanks just the same
I have only seen reports of the basic units arriving.
Mine should be a fully upgraded unit. I’m assuming that’s taking longer to prep for shipment?
Well someone on another forum requested that Mrodair “communicate” their progress with purchasers by compiling a “list” with the perosns who had purchased them, which were paid in full, which were shipped and which were not shipped.
Here was his reply:
As for pics, and info, this was all posted right here on this very forum.
it was then promptly deleted.
we have made several inquires about becoming a sponsoring vendor to remedy this situation and until then have agreed to offer product support and keep the links, pics etc off this forum until this is dealt with.
we are not going to engage you in a protracted commentary on the savings, as this to most is evident, however we will strive to do better in the future on our delivery schedule.
thank you for your insight
……so I’d expect you will be seeing it within a week……………………….but don’t hold your breath
Anyone read any reports on any of the forums of one with the full upgrade package arriving?

I hope mine gets here by next weekend, but it might not , I just ordered it a week ago, roger
Whoa! They work upside down too according to the 2nd pict.
Thanks for the update.
They are on the way brothers.
We run every one of them and fill 2 tanks to 4500 before shipping.

Test the fill time
Test the temp developed
Test the load they pull
Then we ship em out, not before.
This is not a “hey let’s pass the box” deal guys.
Just not the way we operate.
One snag in particular was after the manufacturer changed these from 220 to 110 volt for us, they forgot to swap out the amperage cut out switch.
We ordered in 100 of these next day and replacing them as we test each one.
It’s just one of the safety features built into this compressor, but instead of bypassing it, we made it right.
This is what we get paid for guys.
Not your job to do.
Working thru the weekend to keep em rolling and shipped ALOT of these Friday.
Just making sure they do the job.
Where oh where can my compressor be?
Where oh where can you be?
I ordered you early
And paid right up
Where oh where can you be?
Before I bought my compressor , I tried a shoe box Hell I tried five of them stack on top of each other, I placed them on my tank after I took the shoes out, Nothing happened,
I guess some shoebox’s work better then others,,,
I think Zonk got a good one,
The only thing I got against Kansas is that its flat. ( like West Texas)
Mike
:8: :8:
The Shoebox isn’t made to fill a tank from empty?? Myself and my Shoebox didn’t get that memo.. We’ve successfully filled from empty with no problems. And like others, my Shoebox is also 2+ years with no problems- not even an oring change yet.
Like I said my Freedom 8 works just fine……………………… 😆

Mrodair did collect $1000 from each one of those “customers”, upfront, each having to trust they would get a compressor, right? Or did I miss something?
