OIL,OIL, TOIL and trouble
This oil spill in the gulf has been going on for about one month now.
This is going to reach catastropic proportions if it hasnt already .
I thought some of the guys on here could put thier evil genius 😈 to good use .
does anyone have any good or bad ideas that they think might slow down or stop this ??
Im no engineer , but first I would remove BP and and anyone else involved from the picture .
As they have a certain amount of time money and may pose a conflict of interest in getting this done quickly.
I dunno, if thats true or not , but lets start new .
Ok My idea , (maybe it wouldnt work , I dunno ) would be to dump 30 or 40 cargo ships full of gravel and 1 ton blocks of stone . just keep dumping till it stops .
In an attempt to smother it . then apply some some type of concrete to seal it .
re drill (I know) next to it, or tap it . to remove pressure .
Im no engineer man , just shooting it out there to you evil geniuses who might be able to springboard off that . I know some of you fucks are clever enough to get it done
whats your ideas ? Cause BP doesnt have any .
waiting till the well runs dry (literaly) isnt an option .

I read somebodys idea where they said to sink a oil tanker with a hole in the bottom
over the well head .
weight it down, concrete it , bury it ,then seal it .

That was another one of those ideas that just wasn’t a GOOD idea..
Chopped up stuff might make it down the drill pipe but it would clog the
2″ ports in the BOP before it would seal up the 14-24″ throat of the BOP
itself…. I don’t remember anyone mentioning if the BOP was completely
out of service and is still wide open or if they attempted to close it and it
partially closed…. If it did partially close then it is likely that the oil, gas,
and shavings from the well have cut through the valves in the BOP
rendering it impossible to close… BP claimed that the live feed was froze
and/or unviewable due to the amount of people trying to watch the Top
Kill operations but in fact, BP had turned the cameras off because they
did not want anyone to know that they had stopped pumping for 19 hours
to see if the Top Kill was working… This is not looking good at all… The
other concern I have is that the camera position that they are
broadcasting is not the same as it had been which makes me think that
they are hiding something else…
So what happened to the chopped up golf balls? It was all they could talk about for days. Then———————————————————-
FYI, it was actually the Methane that was freezing into “ice” that plugged up the covers they tried the first few times.
At that depth and pressure, Methane is sort of a slurry like consitency that looks like long ice crystals. The salt water just cools it enough that it turns from a gas to the cyrstals.

I sent my liquid nitrogen suggestion in too.
Here is my latest brain fart…. If the gas was freezing into ice crystals when it
mixed with the salt water and plugging up the suction of the box that was
placed on top of the leak, then it might be possible to pump salt water into
the BOP to plug it enough to get the mud to start going down hole…. I sent
the suggestion to BP… Now I have done something….
The real solution would be cut your losses and drop a 500lb from a sub down the fucking whole and call it a day!
