OIL,OIL, TOIL and trouble
This oil spill in the gulf has been going on for about one month now.
This is going to reach catastropic proportions if it hasnt already .
I thought some of the guys on here could put thier evil genius 😈 to good use .
does anyone have any good or bad ideas that they think might slow down or stop this ??
Im no engineer , but first I would remove BP and and anyone else involved from the picture .
As they have a certain amount of time money and may pose a conflict of interest in getting this done quickly.
I dunno, if thats true or not , but lets start new .
Ok My idea , (maybe it wouldnt work , I dunno ) would be to dump 30 or 40 cargo ships full of gravel and 1 ton blocks of stone . just keep dumping till it stops .
In an attempt to smother it . then apply some some type of concrete to seal it .
re drill (I know) next to it, or tap it . to remove pressure .
Im no engineer man , just shooting it out there to you evil geniuses who might be able to springboard off that . I know some of you fucks are clever enough to get it done
whats your ideas ? Cause BP doesnt have any .
waiting till the well runs dry (literaly) isnt an option .

thats not really an idea ya know 😉
thats pretty much what the whole country is doing and I think im going to join them .
who care’s, aint my house , my job, my kids , glad its not me.
Your right ,why shoud I give a fuck anyway ??
Yea, just like the guy you met at the gas station…. Now I understand what
pissed him off…
happen next then, watch the news..
I have been
You sure as hell won’t listen to
someone that knows first hand
YOU LOL YOU LOL YOU LOL!!!!
…..I have better things to do that argue
with someone that has never seen a drop of crude… I just thought you
might want to know the truth…
seeing it doesnt make you a freaking engineer as you obviously proved
and with guys like you working on it no wonder it sank. You think those guys never saw CRUDE?? those guys arnt experts and suddenly mr No idea is an expert because you saw crude?
what the fuck are they doing ?? got thier thumbs up thier asses waiting for someone to tell them something
just like the president waiting for someone to tell him something .
Mam you have 0 ideas and your critizeing ?? WTF???
Your the expert, go call them, tell them your expert advice is to wait for some expert advice .
You dont like my ideas Fine, what about someone elses??? what about yours.
My idea is to let the experts figure it out… My other idea is for you to go
bake a cake and stop trying to understand a problem that is over your
head. That means something you can’t understand….
you mean your an asshole, yeah I get it
Kill operation is a big show to make it look like BP is trying everything
they can…. I think they know full well that it is a waist of time but, it
looks good and gives false hope to those that don’t know any better…
I agree 100% belive it or not 😆
I really don’t give a fuck… Ya know what I mean…??

do you think those pumps can create the kinds of pressures needed with out rupturing a pipe?? if at all?
Mam, I thought there was the feed line to slow the flow and a kill line that goes in before the drill mud line. The mud is supposed to slow the flow so the kill cement goes down instead of up. I agree though, if it was going to work the fail safe would have done the job.
Why would BP do something against the designers specifications? 🙄
I hope your wrong too, but I think they are stalling because they know what is really going on down there… In this situation it sucks to be right. 😆
There are 4 lines connected to 4 ports on the BOP that they will pump
drill fluid and cement through, hoping it will fill the well…. There is
nothing inside of the BOP to close off to slow the flow… If they had not
damaged the BOP, it could have been closed off above the ports and drill fluid
could be pumped down the well by using high pressure, positive
displacement, mud pumps…. If you shoved a hypodermic needle into a
water hose while it was on and injected a fluid you would be doing the
same thing they are doing with this Top Kill… The fluid you were injecting
would not flow towards the shut off valve… I seriously think that this Top
Kill operation is a big show to make it look like BP is trying everything
they can…. I think they know full well that it is a waist of time but, it
looks good and gives false hope to those that don’t know any better…
Displacing the fluid off of the top of the cement plug gives the production
rig one less operation to do and the drilling rig can do it faster than the
production rig because all of the equipment is already there and hooked
up… It was just a time saver short cut that didn’t quite pay off….
If you need any more clarification about what is going on or what might
happen next then, watch the news..

I’ve never seen so many people want to be wrong. 😆
I agree Mam ,it isnt going to work
The way I see it thats 5200 ft of pipe (ballpark) the pressurre at the well head is 170,000 max from what I ve read
which means that the pump must push 5200 feet of concrete weighing only god knows what , (a few tons at least ) a@170,000psi at the head ,
cant see it . maybe im wrong , seems like an overwhelming amount of pressure over that distance with that weight .
For Gods sake I hope im wrong and it works
😆
I sure hope we can argue about who was right and wrong sooner rather than later… 😕
I’ve got this sinking feeling that the relief bores are the only real fix and this thing is going to gush for months to come…
There is definitely going to be some good finger pointing throughout all this… 😯 😆
Can we impeach after the term has ended? 😉

nothing, you have no ideas . lets follow the guys with no ideas.
I didn’t say stop trying. I have no ideas that will work and although you think
your ideas will work, they won’t.
thats your opinion theyve never been tried
The only difference between you and I is
that I understand that I do not have the mental capabilities nor experience to
stop the well and you don’t understand that you do not have a clue what you
are talking about.
I understand that perfectly . the idea is ….ideas, like I said at the very begining of the post ,(Even if you think thier stupid make some suggestions )
It may spark an idea in someone who does know enginering . 💡 concepts , It might spark something.
Sometimes it takes an outsider to get a fresh perspective of a problem.
.. Your ideas are a waist of time…
comeing from a guy with no ideas what does that mean?
That’s all we
need is more money spent doing things that won’t work….
no your right , save the money and do a 5 year study on it
Washington has
that market cornered, there is no since in you giving them any more ideas
to waist money…. 😀 Do the US a favor… Stop thinking….
😆 😆 😆 ( I laughed!)
Ok Ill be more like you , no ideas
The only
thing you are accomplishing is impressing yourself, it is not helping to
stop the well from leaking….
well I was hopeing to spark some ideas from the guys here , who are pretty crafty
and craftier than me thats for sure.
And no one is entertaining your ideas to cap
the well.
capping it was never my idea
Maybe you should give them a call.. I am sure they could use a
good laugh right about now.. 😉
they sure could . Ill tell em about your idea first 😆
Thing is , I sure as hell aint no engineer, nor claim to be .
but exchangeing of of idea ‘s no matter how stupid you think it is .is ok
there’s nothing wrong with it .
You think Im a moron because I have a bad idea , I think your a moron because you have no idea’s 😆
no harm done. 😀
Honestly I thought more guys on here would have some pretty good ideas.
The whole thing is really about comming up with some ideas in the hope that someone could find something that just might work .
Doesnt mean anything man , just tossing ideas around , you shouldnt shit on a guy for trying to get some ideas going .
But I guess thats it for me. I dont want to argue with you . We dont agree thats fine .no big deal .
But its going to be interesting to see how this ends .

Hey Mam Im sorry guy, This shit is just fucking sick
The well was drilled and plugged… Basically finished without incident….
Trans Ocean is very capable of drilling those wells… BP decided to
displace the drilling fluid above the top cement plug (against Trans
Oceans advice) prior to moving in the production rig and that is what
caused the blowout…. If BP or Transocean had kept the BOP in working
order they could have closed it and solved the problem they caused by
displacing the fluid above the top plug… This is the same problem they
are having right now trying the “Top Kill” method… They are trying to
pump drill fluid down a flowing hole… It is inconceivable that the drill fluid
will flow downwards in the opposite direction of the flow without some
sort of restriction inside of the BOP or the riser pipe… Now they are
saying that it will take at least 2 days before they can tell if it is working
or not.. That is BS.. This is another one of thier stall tactics.. They are
buying time until they can get the relief wells drilled… Look at the live
video… See anything different about the flow or anything that wasn’t
there before…. ?? Do you see 3 different colors mixed in the flow
now….? There were not 3 colors before they started the Top Kill. The
white is gas, the black is crude and the red is liquid mud/drilling fluid….
The mud is being blown out the top of the BOP as fast as they pump it in.
They are injecting drilling fluid @ a rate of 3,400bbls an hr and the well is
flowing @ a rate of 6,000+bbls per hr… How is the mud ever suppose to
go down? It won’t unless the BOP or riser pipe gets plugged up…. 2 days
from now come back and read this again…. I hope I get ripped because I
am wrong….

really Mam lets go back and see who started calling names first Mam
You came on this thread and critized everyone who posted ,BP,the president . everyone .
you called me a moron and you freaked out when I hit ya back .
Come onnnnnnnnnnnn ,
I tried to calm it down a bit and you said you didnt give a fuck
whos being the asshole here?
