OIL,OIL, TOIL and trouble
This oil spill in the gulf has been going on for about one month now.
This is going to reach catastropic proportions if it hasnt already .
I thought some of the guys on here could put thier evil genius 😈 to good use .
does anyone have any good or bad ideas that they think might slow down or stop this ??
Im no engineer , but first I would remove BP and and anyone else involved from the picture .
As they have a certain amount of time money and may pose a conflict of interest in getting this done quickly.
I dunno, if thats true or not , but lets start new .
Ok My idea , (maybe it wouldnt work , I dunno ) would be to dump 30 or 40 cargo ships full of gravel and 1 ton blocks of stone . just keep dumping till it stops .
In an attempt to smother it . then apply some some type of concrete to seal it .
re drill (I know) next to it, or tap it . to remove pressure .
Im no engineer man , just shooting it out there to you evil geniuses who might be able to springboard off that . I know some of you fucks are clever enough to get it done

It may spark an idea in someone who does know enginering . 💡 concepts , It might spark something.

Honestly I thought more guys on here would have some pretty good ideas.
The whole thing is really about comming up with some ideas in the hope that someone could find something that just might work .
Doesnt mean anything man , just tossing ideas around , you shouldnt shit on a guy for trying to get some ideas going .

Mexico couldn’t plug a hole that was only under a couple hundred feet of water… It gushed for 9 months before the relief holes were drilled.
I don’t see why this is any different, or at the least 50 times worse due to the depth of the water…
I think if it were as easy as dumping dirt on it they would be trying that. And unless you could pinpoint the dropping of the dirt it would spread out in the mile it needed to fall before it hits the ocean floor.
Sad part is, there is no way to clean this up right away, most of the oil is under the water and there is no technique for that and the dispersant has mixed the oil and water, worst case scenario is it will have to separate itself, fish and plant life will absorb lots of the crap…
There is a damn good reason why the rules were changed to allow this rig to drill. They knew they were in over their heads and nobody with half a brain would never let them do what they wanted to do with the inadequate equipment that they had.
This well should have never been opened up because there is no way to close it. That is why the rules were changed and the safety items left off the system, if not, then the only other reason is that the ‘experts’ are incompetent and failed to install the proper safety valves.
How can we expect the same ‘experts’ that fucked the WHOLE deal up to responsibly fix it? Sure put BP and Hailburton, the folks THAT created the problem, on to fix something that they know is impossible to fix… At this point they are trying to save costs while the only real fix is underway.
Notice Haliburton is nowhere to be seen…?
How do we know? The 70% chance of working item was abandoned and the relief hole still goes deeper and deeper each day… The relief hole is the only way to fix this problem and that will take months.
Here is what is going to happen; BP will keep their cash cow and the coast will be covered with oil for five years, the politicians will get richer from oil company gifts and hundreds of thousands of people will lose everything they own and receive zero compensation.

Didn’t Bush swear to protect this country? He’s making the current administration look really good right now, do you think he loses any sleep in his mansion while the gulf fills with oil. Or is he smiling to himself as he counts his cash in his mansion? If Obama KISSED the feet of the Sauds it would never even approach the absolute negligence demonstrated by Bushy and his cohorts…

Shit if I was a fisherman down there I would sure be outfitting my fishing rig to become and oil capture rig!!! But then BP would try to block you out of the site because that’s what they are doing 🙂

I think they’re trying to preserve thier investment ,
it has to be in the hundreds of millions or billions , they just arent going to walk away from that. or seal it permenantly .
I still think they’re trying to preserve something… maybe the geology of that drill site… something is being hidden from the public.
In the aftermath we will hear the real reason it took so long to stop.
Or maybe even TNT… its a deep hole in the earth’s crust, surely they can cause it to fail.

The whole airline trucking rail and shipping industries could be pressed into service the army ,air force navy Marines, coast guard, reserves national guard, army corps of engineers , the royal engineers from GB.The Canadian navy and engineers, available ships from every country . if necessary private companies assets could be pressed into service .

there are thousands of heavy cargo ships , hundreds of thousands of smaller vessels
we have fleets (hundreds at least) of cargo planes and bombers that can make at least three runs a day or more !!
we have allies around the worlds we could ask or pay to help asisst us

The fumes coming off of the oil is toxic and a health hazard.
