Q:

The Airforce Bottle Regulator is here!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am pleased to announce that the Airforce bottle regulator is complete and I have the distinct honor to offer them for sale.

They have the M18 x 1.5 threadpitch for the Airforce bottle on one end and the .875-20UNEF threads for the E-TaCREG on the other.

The length and diameter are identical to the other JDS Airman regs.

I will be stocking them here at E-TaC central. The cost is $90 shipped, same as the E-TaCREG. CONUS shipping is included.

You can choose your output pressure from 1200-2500psi.

Here is a picture.

I have to get my tank filled (AGAAIN!!!) and I’ll get a shot count number for the 2000psi output.

Regards,
Jim

Rob,
Yes, your barrel.

Surprising that sending them faster would help. Seems to me like they are all over the place.

I have a hard time getting down to my target with the chrony and shooting lane as I have it. I’ll see if I can get some groups for you.

Jim

Was that with my .25 barrel, Jim? I have had a bit of a time finding the right combination of pellet/velocity to get really good groups out of that gun.

IIRC, Kodiaks at 950+fps did well….

I had actually thought about going back to .22 in that gun at one point.

Sam,
Unfortnately, the 2500psi reg will not push the Kodiaks to 950fps.

I get 12 shots at 891fps, SD 3.9

If I may add my thoughts, they were quite squirrley at that velocity, lots of precession and quite inaccurate.

I’m going to shoot the other pellets with this reg and have more numbers later today.

Jim

Sam,
We will find out today, I got a good supply or regs yesterday and the 2.5k is first to be mounted.

I’m going to cheat a little, though, and put one of Tony’s awesome valves on the E-TaCREG.

Jim

Kodiak Extra Heavies: 14 shots, 862fps, SD 3.6……2500 reg has to be close to 950 wouldn’t you think?

Thanks!

Benneeb0y,

3000 psi is what I fill to for all my numbers.

You want to shoot those??

I’ll have to get some to try.

😆 😆 😆

Thanks for testing Jim! Can’t wait to see the 2500 reg numbers!

OOOOPS…. no way we get to 950 with Kodiaks, even at 2500psi…Sorry..I misread the post, had .22 in my head.

Patiently waiting my next shipment of AFB regs from John, it will have a 2500 in it.

Got a call into a friend who may have the Kodiak .22s. Will keep you posted.

Jim my wish list if you have them. 24″ .22 Cal. barrel shooting 21.1 Gr. Kodiaks @ 950 Fps. and 12″ .25 Cal. barrel shooting 30.7 Gr. Kodiaks @ 950 Fps. If you don’t have that setup, do you have it in the 12″/22 Cal.–24″/25 Cal.? T.I.A.

Sam,

Don’t have Kodiaks.
Don’t have a 12″ 25 cal barrel (but I doubt very highly that we’ll get to 950 in only 12″)
I have a 12″ 22 cal (but, again, no Kodiaks)
Have a 24″ 25 cal. so will see what it takes to get the Kodiaks to 950.
