Q:

The Airforce Bottle Regulator is here!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am pleased to announce that the Airforce bottle regulator is complete and I have the distinct honor to offer them for sale.

They have the M18 x 1.5 threadpitch for the Airforce bottle on one end and the .875-20UNEF threads for the E-TaCREG on the other.

The length and diameter are identical to the other JDS Airman regs.

I will be stocking them here at E-TaC central. The cost is $90 shipped, same as the E-TaCREG. CONUS shipping is included.

You can choose your output pressure from 1200-2500psi.

Here is a picture.

I have to get my tank filled (AGAAIN!!!) and I’ll get a shot count number for the 2000psi output.

Regards,
Jim

I don’t understand, do you use a fender washer when you have a regulator?

I think I can, I think I can…
I think I can get it right eventually but I can’t seem to play by the easy instructions.

So much going on and I got it all stirred up together so here is the problem and a 32 shot string from my 2500 PSI E-TaCReg:
Problem…being careful when installing the JDS Reg the first 2 spacers fell into the palm of my hand. I think I put them back on the way they came off but maybe I need to get instructions on exact placement and which way they go.
Anyway,I’m doing to many things at one time as this will attest to.

2500 PSI E-TaCReg FILL 3000 PSI, Top Hat snug to Latched Breech (about 0.104″ with 0.070″ fender washer behind Top Hat, Power Wheel = 11, 32 rounds of .22 Baracuda Match 21.14 gr. (at PW= 13 Max FPS was 965 but .22 cal. Baracudas grouped best for me one time at around 930 FPS) ENDING PSI = 2450 (17.19 avg PSI used per shot)

Standard Deviation 9.3 for 32 shots

Avg. 41 Foot Pounds of Energy

At 30 yards I got a 3/8″ (0.374″) 5 shot group which is good for me.

I want to zero my scope at 40 yards for the Baracudas or Kodiaks and I just about have the the most I can get out of adjusting the BKL mount.

I would like to get the PW down some more and may try reducing the Top Hat but I have to consider the 0.070″ O-Ring or Fender washer behind the TH.

Also, I hope to gain a little velocity and a little more consistency by moving the barrel slightly, maybe 1/4″ to the rear. Then I may turn down the PW a little more.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Nasser, Dave,

Read the post just put up by Gradie.

Roachcreek

most ive filled to is about 230BAR, there isn’t anything stopping me filling to 250 and I will be soon enough

Yeah, i just found out that the ones sold in the U.K use tanks with 250BAR, the question is do you actually fill to that pressure ?

I just opened up my Air Ranger & here is a side by side picture & information on the tank.

i think this tank is specifically made for Daystate but its rated at 250BAr & PH at 375 BAR, it would be great to get one for the Air Force & add a E-Tacreg with it.

JVH,

The E-TaCREG and reg are not rated for 4500psi. If you try it, it will be at your own risk of life and limb.

I would recommend waiting until I get the .25 cal valve and E-TaCREG finished (about two weeks) and use it to get the velocity you would like. I am in the process of testing the latest generation and expect to publish results shortly. Preliminary numbers at 2000psi are very good…2500psi testing has not yet commenced.

Please be patient.

Jim

Good things come to those who wait patiently 😉

Is there any possibilities to modify E-tac reg working at 3000 -3100 psi ?
First I need new 4500 psi bottle to condor. Can it be connected to 4500 psi / 12 Litre diving bottle with E-tac reg then?

I’m shooting this kind of . 25 bullets with my gun :
RCBS 57902 mold made by NEI handtools.
cal .25 and .22 H&N barracudas on right.

I have 24″ LW barrel, stock Hi-flo valve, Leupy’s Hybrid 90 gram hammer and strong spring.
I can shoot 31grain kodiaks 1130-1140 fps (couple of shots maximum) and 48-51 grain home made bullets approx 980 fps (maximum)
Filling pressure 3000-3050 psi.

I have the Air Ranger .25 in 80ft lbs & the tank is a 500cc 250 BAR (3650PSI) which was tested at 375 Bar if im correct, there for you can always fill a little higher, i already tried filling it to 260 BAR.

This would be a great tank for the airforce cause most of the other painball tanks looks real ugly on the Condor.

The problem is i dont know where you can buy them.

Hey AC Sniper,

Sorry I haven’t gotten a chance to reply to your PMSG….it’s freeeekin crazy here at E-TaC Central.

There is no problem using any and all of the available valves with the E-TaC or E-TaCREGs.

The standard Condor valve will take about 30-40 fps off the hi-flow valve, where as Tony’s great valves will add 80-100fps to the hi-flow.

I think if you want to get 1000fps with the .22 you should get the 2200psi reg. The 2000psi will go 1000 fps with the hi-flow, but I doubt it will with the standard valve.

Sorry for the late and short reply.

Jim

Can anyone tell me if The Etac Reg and the JDSAirman works with a Standard AFC valve(the old version valve on the stock AFC bottle). ❓ I have 2 stock AFC bottles, one of them with the Standard AFC valve and the other with the Hi-Flo AFC valve and I want to mount the ETac Reg and JDSAirman regulator on the stock AFC bottle with the Standard valve and shoot 15,8 graines JSB Jumbo Exacts at aprox. 1000fps and save the stock AFC bottle with the Hi-Flo valve for hunting medium game with 28 graines eun-jins.Thanks and I’ll look forward for your replies.
